5 General Hospital Characters Drew Could Target Next

General Hospital's Drew Cain is back with a vengeance. While fans had hoped that the cutthroat politician would learn some lesson from his harrowing experience and come back a better man, Drew shows no such signs.

For some inexplicable reason, Drew is fixated on taking down Sonny Corinthos while resuming his war with Jason and the Quartermaine family. On the other hand, he supported his adversary, Curtis, apologized to Portia, and congratulated Jordan on getting the CEO position at Aurora. He also found an ally in Ava Jerome to help take down Sonny together.

5 Foes Drew is Ready to Strike At on General Hospital

1) Sonny Corinthos

Since his recovery, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has decided Sonny is his enemy and had Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) begin the process of helping him buy the properties that Sonny intends to acquire.

Moreover, Drew singled out Ava Jerome (Maura West) who has been fighting an off and on custody battle for years with Sonny over her daughter, Avery Corinthos. As Sonny’s rival, Ava agreed to become Drew’s ally in taking down the former mobster together. While Drew may have other deterrents on his path, he will want to strike Sonny when the latter is at his weakest. Drew believes that Sonny may lose his powers as he quits mob, making it easy for Drew to vanquish him.

2) Jack Brennan

Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has enough dirt on Drew to take down the former congressman. Jack was ready to hand it over to Drew’s disillusioned wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). However, Willow made a deal with Drew and decided to drop the idea of going after him. As such, Jack offered the same dirt to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), when he witnessed Drew refusing to comply with Alexis’s request to let Drew’s daughter be with her grandmother.

While Alexis has not accepted the offer yet, Jack made veiled threats to Drew against making too many enemies. As such, Drew promised Ava that he would deal with Jack. Drew may plan a sinister attack on Jack to silence him.

3) Nina Reeves

Recently, Willow’s mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) pushed the wheelchair-bound Drew into the lake and left him to die there. This was after she helped her daughter inject Drew with paralytic drugs for months. While Drew has decided to remain quiet about Willow’s crimes as part of the pact he made with his former wife, he has no such obligation towards Nina.

Remembering Nina’s extreme move, Drew may not her get off so easily, Moreover, Drew can use Nina as part of his attack strategy against Willow.

4) Danny Morgan

GH fans have long known Drew’s distaste for his twin, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and the latter’s son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). With Jason being busy with his mob work, Drew forbade his daughter to meet Danny and went out of the way to get restraining orders against the teenager. During his paralytic state, Willow relaxed the restraining order, letting Danny see his half-sister.

After his recovery, Drew was furious and even rejected a offer for truce from Jason. Drew may want to target Danny, hoping to punish Jason, or may plan a covert strike on both father and son. Incidentally, Danny is also planning to frame Drew in a fake case, egged on by his friend, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke). If this gets exposed, Drew will have more ammunition to attack Danny or chastise Jason.

5) Tracy Quartermaine

Drew recently threatened the whole Q clan via Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Drew’s anger towards the Q family stems from the family matriarch, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), taking a strong stand against him after his affair with Willow was revealed. Moreover, Tracy showed a clear preference towards Jason over Drew.

Before his paralysis, Drew’s atrocious actions towards the Quartermaines include calling the cops on Tracy, leaving Ned (Wally Kurth) to die of heart attack, and stealing family heirlooms. With his political career and family name gone, a livid Drew is expected to turn his vengeance towards the Q family.. However, whether he chooses a direct attack on Tracy or a more covert attack through other family members remains to be seen.
