General Hospital's Jack Brennan died leaving Nina Reeves stranded and unsupported. After Jack recovered from his Nina-induced paralysis, he became Nina's confidante and eventually her lover. As the two started getting closer, Jack warned Nina to stay out of her daughter's mess. This led to a verbal fight between the two.
As Drew and Ava tried to trick Jack for intel, the WSB chief was found dead in the Metro Court pool. Drew and Ava secretly buried the dead body and Drew planted Jack's wallet in Nina's car to frame her. At the same time, the WSB interrogated the owner of the Metro Court Hotel, Carly Spencer, who pointed her finger at Nina, referring to the recent fight with Jack. These put together may land Nina in police custody.
5 Characters Who May Be Impacted by Nina's Predicament
1) Willow Tait

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may be very surprised to find herself as a suspect in Jack's disappearance. While she may deny any knowledge about Jack Brennan's (Chris McKenna) wallet in her car, she cannot refute her public disagreement with Jack. As such, she may reach out to her daughter, Congresswoman Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), for help.
While the WSB knows of Nina's involvement with Jack, an investigation may also expose Willow's connection with Jack. If Willow's phone recordings are checked, they may provide the authorities with information about Jack's misdeeds to help Willow, but it would also incriminate her.
2) Sonny Corinthos

Although divorced and barely in one anothers lives, Sonny and Nina are not enemies and still have affection for one another. As such, if Nina is arrested and Sonny learns about it, he will likely offer his help.
However, as General Hospital fans know, Sonny is not a mob boss anymore and has no power connected to the crime world network or armed support. This would likely leave his actions very limited when he tries to help Nina. Despite that, whether he manages to facilitate Nina's release remains to be seen.
3) Liesl Obrecht

Nina's aunt, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), has a caustic tongue and a strong opinion about things, but she loves Nina. Liesl has a reputation as a schemer and a meddling person. After breaking free from her villain husband, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), she shed her villainous persona. However, she aided her daughter's stealing of embryos and even baby Ben.
Recently, Liesl noticed the dark change in Willow's personality and warned Nina about it. Since Nina failed to listen to anyone who cautioned her about Willow, Liesl will likely lash out at her for falling into the current mess. While Liesl may try to save Nina, she is likely to cause more trouble by antagonizing the cops.
4) Ava Jerome

Recently, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) roped in Ava Jerome (Maura West) to help drug Jack so that Drew could search Jack's room. However, a drugged Jack walked off from Ava, and later, was found floating dead in the hotel pool. A panicked Ava and Drew fished out the body and buried Jack secretly in the woods. Drew proceeded to plant Jack's wallet in Nina's car, without Nina's or Ava's knowledge.
When Ava finds Nina arrested and interrogated on charges related to Jack's disappearance, she may feel guilty. She may figure out pretty quickly that it was Drew who put that wallet in Nina's car after he lifted it off Jack's body.
5) Alexis Davis

If Nina is arrested and charged with Jack's disappearance, she would likely need an attorney to represent her. With little faith in Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) or Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), Nina may reach out to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). While Alexis may believe her client innocent, Nina knows how Alexis had her daughter exonerated from the charges of shooting Drew.
Alexis has already dealt with this family in court plenty, so why not some more? Sh may even earn points with Scout, who spent many a night at Nina's house while Drew and Willow were in their toxic relationship.
