5 General Hospital Characters Who Could Change Willow’s Future Forever

Congresswoman Willow Tait from General Hospital is cornered and in a helpless situation with her strongest ally, her mother, arrested by the WSB and sent to Steinmauer. Willow knows Nina enougn to know she her mother was framed. While she can only suspect Drew Cain, she is in need of more allies on her side. However, she is left with very few who can help change the course of events.

Willow knows Drew may turn his revenge focus on her, while she is always trying to make sure she doesns't lose access to her kids. As such, she must consider using her political power while keeping suspicion away from herself. Whether she can act in time to save herself or her life takes an unexpected turn remains to be seen.

1) Michael Corinthos

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) have been locked in a bitter custody battle over their children for nearly two years. Willow maintained her victim image despite forcibly induced paralysis on her newly-wedded husband, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). However, Michael continued looking out for his children's welfare.

Recently, Michael has learned about Willow's crimes and is holding it over her, forcing her to stay under his watch at his family property. While Michael may want to avoid the negative impact of the exposure of Willow's crimes on their children, he may want her to pay for them in some other form. Whether he steps up to help her and put her in his debt or joins hands with her enemies to corner her remains to be seen.

2) Ric Lansing

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) hired Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) as her lawyer right before her arrest. While Ric could not stop her from being taken, he informed Willow and asked for more intel on the situation. Although Willow kept the truth about her and her mother's crimes from Ric, he may eventually dig out the truth.

As Ric realizes that Nina paid the price for Willow's crimes and that she was possibly coerced into being an accomplice, he may use the intel to save his client. He may consider exposing the congresswoman and bringing out the real culprit for the WSB. He may get some help and inputs from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who already knows about Willow's crimes. Whether he joins hands with his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who already offered to help Nina, remains to be seen.

3) Valentin Cassadine

Willow may consider reaching out to Nina's former husband, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who is also a former WSB agent. Willow may hope that Valentin will pull the right strings to rescue Nina. Since Valentin has been a rogue agent, he may not directly interact with the organization, but guide Willow in the right direction.

However, bargaining with a former rogue agent and, until recently, a fugitive, may bite the congresswoman back. Moreover, Valentin may be too sharp for her and discover the real reason behind Nina's predicament. When he learns Willow's role in putting her mother into danger, Valentin may become the wrong person to depend on as an ally.

4) Josslyn Jacks

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has climbed into the spotlight at the WSB after taking down a rogue agent and helping secure the reputation of the organization. Moreover, her loyalty towards her recruiter, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), will likely drive her to take personal interest in his disappearance, particularly as she suspects foul play. As such, she will likely be involved with the WSB arresting Nina in relation to the case.

However, Josslyn is a relentless agent and in the perfect position to dig up evidence. If she gets her hands on the incriminating evidence Jack had on Willow and Nina, she may act upon it. Because Willow escaped punishment for shooting Drew but tried to frame Joss's brother, the WSB agent may make Willow's life troublesome.

5) Drew Cain

Drew let his ally, Ava Jerome (Maura West), know that he managed to frame Nina in revenge for all the awful things Nina did to him. Fans also know that Drew wants to come after Willow next. Since Nina protected Willow with Jack's help, Drew might have been unable to target Willow directly. Now, with Jack dead and Nina in Steinmauer, Drew's path to Willow is clear.

Since he now knows all the crimes Willow committed against him, and how she tried to kill him, took his constituency and undermined his authority on his daughter, Drew will likely come after Willow ruthlessly. He may also consider eliminating Willow's standing support, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who believes in Willow's innocence. If Drew comes forward as the victim and eyewitness of Willow's crimes, or lets Chase know the truth, he may remove Willow's last ally.
