5 General Hospital Characters Who May Be Forced to Choose Sides

General Hospital changes are set to challenge loyalties and alliances in the coming days. As new commitments are forming, some former allies are switching sides to become enemies. While Drew Cain is more horrible than ever before and used Ava Jerome to hide a dead body, he set Nina Reeves up to take the blame for Jack Brennan's disappearance. Meanwhile, Anna Devane's mental decline made her try to target Britt Westbourne.

In addition, Harrison Chase's dogmatic digging revealed the fact that Brook Lynn was also driving on Route 91 the night Jordan nearly killed someone. This infuriated Trina Robinson, who walked out on her arrangement of recording music under BLQ. At the same time, Chase also walked out on his marriage and leaned on Willow Tait for emotional support. 1) Michael Corinthos

Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) believes that his cousin, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) can do better than her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), so he was ready to set a trap for him to have an affair with Willow. However, Brook Lynn has now come forward as "the other driver" in Jordan's accident.

BLQ's secret fueled the friction between Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). This resulted in Curtis assaulting Isaiah and landing in prison for ten years. In this situation, Michael may find it tough to feel empathy for his cousin. On the other hand, he has developed friendship with Jordan, the new CEO of his company, Aurora Media. As such, Michael may consider siding with Jordan over BLQ.

2) Jason Morgan

Due to Anna Devane's (Finola Hughes) poor mental health, the commissioner lured her target, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), to the secluded piece of land on Mount Emerson. Urged by hallucinations of Peter August (Wes Ramsey), Anna held Britt at gunpoint, ready to shoot her dead. However, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) arrived just in time to talk Anna down.

As such, a mentally aggrieved Anna, shot the imaginary Peter before having a break down. While Jason asked Britt to flee the spot, he stayed back to assist Anna out of this intense drama and take her home. At the same time, Britt rushed to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to complain against Anna, demanding action from the WSB agent. While Britt may seek punishment for Anna, Jason may feel empathy for the fallen commissioner. As such, Britt may be surprised to find Jason standing by Anna instead of with her. This may bring the romantic Jason-Britt relationship to an end.

3) Scout Cain

Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) recently shared a first kiss with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), away from her father's prying eyes. Meanwhile, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) visited Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) looking for Scout. When Sonny alerted Rocco about Drew's visit, the teenager took Scout home.

However, when Drew asked Scout's account of who she had been with, the young girl chose to save Rocco from her father's fury. Despite knowing Drew's previous anger towards her brother, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Scout chose to name him in place of Rocco. This way she exposed Danny to Drew's wrath only to protect Rocco. In a clear choice, Scout preferred to defend Rocco over Danny.

4) Gio Palmieri

Now that she has exposed Brook Lynn as "the other driver," Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) accused her of letting Curtis make wrong decisions. Deeming the Quartermaine boss manipulative and toxic, Trina decided she no longer wanted to work with BLQ.

At the same time, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) was shocked that Brook Lynn was keeping secrets again knowing how the previous secret about his birth had hurt everyone. As such, he considered abandoning his mother and siding with his friend-cum-music partner, Trina. However, Gio's girlfriend, Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner), urged him to reconcile with BLQ, since she was his mother. As such, despite the dilemma, Gio may choose to support Brook Lynn. As a consequence, he may lose Trina's friendship forever.

5) Carly Spencer

General Hospital's Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) colluded with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to teach a lesson to her former lover, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), for secretly recruiting her daughter into WSB. Although she broke up with Jack and found love with Valentin, Carly was worried about Jack's disappearance and his searched room. However, Valentin responded to the situation with ruthlessness, claiming that Jack arranged the spectacle and his own disappearance for some ulterior motive.

This did not go down well with Carly, who identified some foul play, as did her daughter. In this scenario, Carly may remember the flash drive containing intel on Valentin's past crimes that Brick (Stephen A Smith) gave her. If Carly goes through all the evidence, she may change her mind about her love and trust for Valentin. Moreover, if Valentin continues to reconnect with Anna, as Jack had warned Carly, the latter may have the dilemma between choosing her love for Valentin and letting him go.
