5 General Hospital Characters Who Need a Love Life

Many General Hospital fans would like to see more love stories on the show to balance out all of the dark storylines. We do have some solid couples on the canvas at the moment, but there are other characters who could use some romance to spice up their lives. Here are five GH characters who need a love life.

Lulu Spencer

Carly (Laura Wright) recently advised Lulu (Alexa Havins) that she needs a life, and we couldn't agree more. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) gently nudged Lulu in the same direction when he asked her whether she is dating. Lulu could use a distraction from worrying about Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Rocco (Finn Carr) all the time.

Over the past few weeks, we've seen a friendship develop between Lulu and Ric (Rick Hearst). Are the GH writers going somewhere with this? She's been a good confidante for him, as he's been feeling insecure about his relationship with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and his jealousy over her friendship with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Liz may be the love of Ric's life, but will he eventually develop feelings for Lulu as well? That would certainly make this messy situation even messier!

Alexis Davis

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been through so much emotional turmoil regarding Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Drew (Cameron Mathison), Ric, Ava (Maura West), and Kristina (Kate Mansi). When was the last time we saw her on a date, enjoying herself? She needs some light-hearted moments in her life.

Some fans would like to see her get back together with Ric, even though the two of them have had a somewhat hostile relationship since he returned to GH. They are now trying to get along better for their daughter Molly's (Kristen Vaganos) sake. But fans see sparks fly between them whenever they argue. Perhaps that would make them a fun couple we could root for.

If Alexis doesn't reunite with Ric, then it might be interesting to see her with a new man. But who could that be?

Josslyn Jacks

Joss (Eden McCoy) has a lot on her plate, now that she agreed to run her father Jasper Jacks' (Ingo Rademacher) company, JJE, as a cover for her job with the WSB. A serious relationship might not be in her best interests right now, but it might be good for her to unwind from all the stress once in a while and at least do some casual dating.

It feels like we're headed toward a romance with Joss and Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel), since we've seen them disagree and bicker on multiple occasions. In the soap world, that usually means a romance is about to bloom. But we've recently seen evidence that Hudson is a shadowy guy who's likely going to cause heartache for Joss. What are his true intentions in regard to JJE?

Tristan Roberts

Tristan (Dean Geyer) has been in PC not even two months, but fans are already speculating who he will be paired with. Some say Liz. Others say Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). There's a lot of mystery attached to him, considering that he's an ex-WSB agent and is currently a doctor (two careers that are totally unrelated).

As we've seen so often, when a new character shows up in PC, he or she ends up being related to a longtime character on the canvas. Some fans wonder whether Tristan will turn out to be Anna's son. But would that make his father Robert Scorpio (played by Tristan Rogers) or Duke Lavery (played by Ian Buchanan)?

In any event, Tristan is successful, bright, and charming. We know it won't be long before he's paired with someone. The question is who?

Tracy Quartermaine

Unfortunately, Tracy (Jane Elliot) always seems to get the shaft when it comes to romance. She and Luke (Anthony Geary) were great together back in the day. But since he died in 2022, Tracy could use a new man who appreciates her sharp wit and sarcastic zingers, as well as her softer side. She was developing feelings for Gregory (Gregory Harrison), but he died of ALS in 2024. Poor Tracy just can't catch a break.

Some GH fans would love to see her and Martin (Michael E. Knight) get together since the pair can't stand each other, yet we always see sparks between them. Let's see them out together on a date, perhaps at the Metro Court. They would never have a dull moment together, and it would give us some much-needed comedic relief from all the drama and tension on the show.
