5 General Hospital Secrets Set to Blow Up Port Charles This Fall

Huge shakeups are waiting to rattle General Hospital Port Charles in the coming weeks. Various residents hold secrets they believe may benefit them, give them leverage over rivals, or keep them safe. However, in true soap opera fashion, these hidden truths are waiting to tumble out at the most inopportune moments.

While many of the secrets revolve around Drew Cain, one very significant mystery is being held by Anna Devane. As such, much drama awaits Port Charles in the fall season of General Hospital's plot.

5 Secrets Awaiting Exposure on General Hospital

1) More drivers during the accident on Route 91

The first week of September saw the initial revelation of the secret that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been keeping. As her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), compared the timings of BLQ's presence at home and at Charlie’s on the fateful night, he concluded that BLQ was driving on the same road where Jordan (Tanisha Harper) had her accident.

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) overheard the conversation and was furious. Expectedly, Brook Lynn will face some negative reactions from people ready to believe that she might have been the driver who did not stop to help Jordan and Curtis.

However, as Chase digs deeper into the case, the cop may discover that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) also had a car incident that night and were rescued by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). This will likely call for another round of investigations.

2) Discovery of Jack Brennan's body and who hid it

Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) panicked after finding Jack Brennan's (Chris McKenna) body floating in the Metro Court pool. Since Ava was the last person to be seen with Jack, and also drugged his drink, she fretted about being caught as a suspect for the death. As such, they carried the body and buried it in the nature reserve by the Q crypt.

However, Outback seems to have got a whiff of the human scent and is busy digging it out. While it may take some time for people to notice the body, it may be discovered early this fall. With Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) reporting foul play in Jack's disappearance, there will be a high-level investigation. While security camera footage may show Ava sharing a table with Jack, whether Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) connects the presence of a tick on her scalp to the nature reserve and connects the dots remains to be seen.

3) Drew framing Nina for Jack's disappearance

Recently, Drew's scheming and conversation with Ava were interrupted by Ava's friend, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Nina thought she was saving her friend from the former corrupt politician. However, she has yet to learn about Ava and Drew's collusion.

Later, Drew entered Nina's car and planted Jack's wallet, which he had swiped from the corpse, under the car seat. Drew hoped that when Jack’s disappearance is investigated, the presence of Jack's wallet in Nina's car would make her a prime suspect. Drew intends this as revenge on Nina for pushing him into the lake to drown. However, other evidence, such as Nina's alibi, Jack’s body, and the fingerprints on the wallet, may prove Nina innocent and leave Drew involved in the case.

4) Rocco and Scout's budding romance

Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) clearly have a growing bond. As Scout is left friendless due to her father’s strict rules and mandates, she has found an empathetic comrade in Rocco. Taking advantage of Drew's engagements, the two have been meeting and spending time. Recently, the teenagers ended up kissing each other for the first time.

While Drew, who tracked Scout's phone location, arrived at the backyard of Sonny Corinthos' (Maurice Benard) house, it may be a while before he realizes that there is a teen romance going on. However, a discovery about this will soon be made, leading to much chaos in town. Whether Drew, Sonny, Danny or Charlotte makes this discovery remains to be seen.

This is one secret that is coming to a head right now that will stun some. Although Anna hasn't seemed completely like herself, her loved ones will be shocked to learn that she had been hallucinating Peter August for months and planned to kill Britt Westbourne.

Now, the repercussions of Anna's act are about to affect things in a big way as Anna's mental health struggles will need to be dealt with in Port Charles and not France.
