5 General Hospital Stories Set to Explode This Fall

After starting the summer by ending the long and drawn-out Sidwell/Cullum/Faison's Final Project story, General Hospital spent the rest of the hot months dealing with the fallout and setting up the next set of stories that will take us to the holidays. Here are 5 GH plots that are set to be on fire in the coming months.

Jack Brennan's Death

Whether Jack (Chris McKenna) got off at the wrong floor and stumbled into the pool in his drugged and drunk state or whether someone pushed him remains to be seen. But he's now dead, and a mystery abounds at the Metro Court. With the security system disabled and a dead man in the pool, things are looking murky at Carly's hotel.

Too bad nobody knows what really happened yet, thanks to Ava (Maura West) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) hiding the body. However, eventually people are going to realize Jack is missing, especially since Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) broke into his room at the Metro Court and can tell someone had already done the same. They are bound to suspect foul play.

Willow's World

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) may not be able to be tried again, but the fact that she shot Drew twice in the back a year ago this week is still out there and can ruin her life. Between Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), Michael (Rory Gibson), and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Willow knows she is in trouble and no amount of waterworks will save her if Chase (Josh Swickard) learns the truth. Willow currently believes that Chase will do anything for her, but that all changes if he ever knew what she did.

Willow is walking a fine line and could snap at any moment as she tries to tie up loose ends. However, she also has the loose end of keeping Drew in a paralytic state for six months to deal with. Perhaps Willow's biggest threat is still Drew.

JJE CEO

All we know so far is that a mystery man who beat up Ethan and who may or may not be Phoebe's father offered Josslyn (Eden McCoy) the JJE CEO job, but didn't actually want her to take it. That sounds kinda fishy, as does the fact that the WSB wants Josslyn in the role so she can investigate her father's company.

With a major recast on the way, fans think it can either be Jerry Jacks or Jax himself. That would add a whole new layer to Josslyn's brand-new assignment and makes this a story to watch out for.

Sonny's Piers

There's a power vacuum in Port Charles now that Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is in prison and Sonny (Maurice Benard) has left the mob. But Sonny still wants power over his piers and his city. He just wants to do it the legal way.

Too bad Drew and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) also want those piers and assets, so the bidding war is going to get intense while the mayor is not in town. That can only be a recipe for disaster. Sidwell's ominous threat from prison that Sonny might still have to watch out for also tells us something surprising is to come.

Trina's Stalker

It's hard to remember that Trina (Tabyana Ali) has a stalker since GH has only touched on this a few times by showing us some shaky camera work, as well as a vision board with snaps of Trina all over it. Most of the time, she is either talking about her music, her parents, or Willow. At least, we received a reminder at her performance.

Now that Trina is making her record label debut with Gio (Giovanni Mazza), things are about to pick up big time. Something tells us that Kai might become a victim here, but will it be Trina's stalker that does him in or Willow? Could Kai's friend, Quinn, be the culprit? Is it Simon the record producer or is it someone else? Stay tuned this fall to find out.
