5 General Hospital Storylines That Need to Wrap Up by Year's End

General Hospital has brought us new storylines with the arrival of Jude Jacks (Wil Traval) and the return of Heather Webber (Alley Mills), but we have some ongoing stories that need to be resolved. These are stories that have been dragged out for months. Here are five GH storylines that need to wrap up by the end of the year.

What is Hudson's true agenda?

Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) got off to a violent start on GH when he beat up Ethan (Christian Howard) in Norway after asking him questions about Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) and baby Phoebe. For three months now, Hudson has been mysterious for a number of reasons. Now that we know Jude is claiming to be baby Phoebe's father, why was Hudson so inquisitive about her? Furthermore, what is his true connection to JJE? Who is the mystery person he's been calling and reporting to?

When Hudson and Joss (Eden McCoy) came face-to-face with Jude in the Brown Dog Bar in Monday's GH episode, Hudson almost acted like Joss' bodyguard. But some GH fans wonder whether he was merely putting on an act and is really in cahoots with Jude.

By the end of the year, we hope we will finally have the answers to our questions about Hudson. He's been an interesting new character, but it's time we finally find out what his true agenda is.

Willow needs to go down once and for all

In early February, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) had a meltdown when she was alone with Drew (Cameron Mathison) in their home. She had injected him with a paralytic drug so that he couldn't speak or move. She confessed to him that she was the one who shot him. As she furiously threw objects across the room, she unleashed her rage on Drew for the horrible way he'd treated Wiley (Viron Weaver), making the poor boy think that Michael (Rory Gibson) didn't want him.

That was nine months ago, and Willow has yet to be exposed for her wrongdoings. This dragged-out storyline desperately needs to come to an end. So many people in Port Charles know what she did, but we need the entire town to find out, especially her unsuspecting friend, Chase (Josh Swickard).

The PC folks need to learn they were wrong about Sonny

GH fans hate that so many of Sonny's (Maurice Benard) loved ones think he's guilty of the Pentonville beatings that landed Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) in the hospital. Since then, we've had a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up.

For example, a month ago, Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) witnessed a suspicious conversation between Vito (Sam Duffy), Drew, and Ava (Maura West). Since then, she hasn't shared her suspicions with anyone, not even Rocco (Finn Carr). Jason was trying to track down Vito, but he hadn't had any luck so far. Is he still trying, or has he given up because he's been distracted with his responsibilities involving ELQ and Deception Cosmetics?

Sonny told Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that he's going to prove his innocence, but he hasn't done anything yet that would clear his name. Will he or someone else finally discover that Drew and Ava were behind the prison beatings? We hope so, and we hope that it happens before we usher in 2027.

The mystery of Jack's death needs to be resolved

Thankfully, our cute GH beagle, Outback, finally dug up Jack's (Chris McKenna) body on the Halloween episode. But how many more days or weeks will we have to endure with Joe (Jonathan Bennett) suspecting the wrong people? He was on the right track when he suspected Ava. It's a shame he didn't continue in that same direction.

While Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are in police custody, will Jason solve the case and figure out that Drew and Ava drugged Brennan and buried him? Moreover, how did Jack end up in the Metro Court pool? We've been wondering that for months now.

We certainly hope that this storyline is completely wrapped up by the end of the year. It's another story with too many loose ends that needed to be tied up weeks ago.

Liz needs to figure out whether she wants Ric or Dante

We're finally starting to make some headway with the triangle of Ric (Rick Hearst), Liz (Rebecca Herbst), and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). After becoming close friends with Dante for months, Liz finally realized that she wanted to kiss him on Halloween night. And Dante flashed back to the moment when he placed a cupcake in her hand, and the two of them gazed at each other for a couple of seconds.

Ric has been jealous of the friendship ever since he spotted Dante giving Liz softball pointers in late July. This storyline has been moving as slowly as molasses, but let's hope that Dante and Liz's cupcake-baking session has finally kicked this story into high gear. By the end of the year, let's hope Liz has a better idea of which guy she's leaning towards.
