General Hospital’s Britt is currently on the run with her surrogate son, Rocco. The events surrounding Britt's departure have thrown Port Charles into turmoil. It all began after Britt was attacked by Cullum at the piers, followed by Cullum being shot during a struggle with Jason. While Jason took responsibility for the shooting and was deported to Jakarta by the WSB, Rocco later revealed to Britt that he was the real shooter. At the same time, Britt made the decision to stop working on the cold fusion project and leave town.

With Cullum searching for the person who shot him and Rocco's parents making what he viewed as questionable decisions, he asked Britt to take him with her. Before leaving, Britt sent Sonny information connected to Sidwell. She also encouraged Rocco to send a video message to his parents to reassure them that he was safe. However, with Huntington's symptoms likely to worsen, Britt may not be able to stay away for long. When she eventually returns to Port Charles, several difficult confrontations could be waiting for her.

5 characters Britt may need to clash against on her return

1) Lulu Spencer

Britt Westbourne's rivalry with Lulu Spencer (now played by Alexa Havins Bruening) dates back to Rocco's birth. Britt initially stole the embryo that would become Rocco and later served as his surrogate mother. She named the baby Ben and refused to hand him over to his biological parents even after the truth came to light. Following her return to Port Charles in 2025, Britt reconnected with Rocco and introduced herself as his "other" mother.

However, Britt eventually learned to keep her distance for Rocco's safety. Unfortunately, the teenager found her easier to confide in than his own mother. As a result, he begged Britt to help him escape Port Charles. When the pair eventually return, Britt will almost certainly have to face Lulu's wrath. She will need to explain both the circumstances surrounding their departure and the role she believes she should have in Rocco's life.

2) Sonny Corinthos

As longtime fans know, Britt has never been afraid to stand up to mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). While their paths rarely cross, she may have plenty of questions for Sonny when she returns to Port Charles, just as he will have questions for her. On one hand, Sonny's influence carries significant weight. On the other, Britt's fiery personality is likely to create plenty of sparks. Since Rocco is Sonny's grandson, the mob boss will almost certainly want answers about why Britt left town with him.

In return, Britt may demand to know why Sonny failed to recognize how deeply the ongoing mob conflicts were affecting Rocco and what he did to prevent it. She may also question Sonny's inability to keep his right-hand man, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), out of danger. However, Sonny could easily point to Britt's own involvement with the cold fusion project and her connection to the events that put Rocco in harm's way. When these two finally face off, both will have plenty of accusations and explanations to throw at each other.

3) Cassius Faison

Britt was one of the few people who knew the true identity of Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) while the rest of Port Charles believed that "Nathan" had returned from the dead. Moreover, she knows that Cassius is an ally of both Cullum and Sidwell. While Britt may be grateful to her brother for helping save Rocco, that does not mean their reunion will be a happy one.

Upon her return, Britt may find herself answering to Cassius, who could chastise her for abandoning the project and fleeing town. He may argue that her actions placed their mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), in greater danger. In return, Britt may blame Cassius for failing to stop Cullum from targeting their family in the first place. She could even threaten to expose his "golden boy Nathan" act to the people of Port Charles and the PCPD. A confrontation between the siblings may be unavoidable.

4) Josslyn Jacks

WSB sleeper agent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) reached out to Britt after Jason was captured and deported by the WSB. She wanted to work with Britt to unravel the mysteries surrounding Faison. However, Britt alerted Cassius, who then kidnapped Josslyn and held her hostage in the Wyndemere basement.

Currently, Josslyn is fighting for her life with Cullum prepared to eliminate her. If she survives the ordeal, she may demand answers from Britt about why the doctor threw her under the bus. Without Britt tipping off Cassius, Josslyn may never have ended up imprisoned at Wyndemere and in Cullum's crosshairs. In return, Britt could argue that Josslyn drew attention to herself by asking too many obvious questions about Faison. Either way, a tense confrontation may be waiting when the two women meet again.

5) Carly Spencer

Britt has never been a friend of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). The two women have shared far more confrontations than conversations over the years. However, a few months ago, Britt staged a very public fight with Carly in an effort to keep her away from the dangerous world she had become involved in. After Britt left town, Carly learned the truth about the doctor's connection to the cold fusion project, which may have changed her opinion of her.

When Britt eventually returns to Port Charles, the two women may have plenty to discuss. Carly may want answers about why Britt felt she couldn't trust her, while Britt may question Carly's growing ties to the WSB and the role she has played in recent events. Although the two strong-willed women could ultimately discover that they share a common enemy, neither is likely to set aside her pride easily. Any reunion between them could be just as explosive as it is revealing.
