5 GH Characters Sonny Can Turn To as His Enemies Mount

General Hospital alliances have changed with both Sonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan quitting the mob. However, some enemies remain such who plan to target Sonny while he's at his weakest. Although rival mobster, Jenz Sidwell, is in prison, he openly threatened to come after Sonny at the first opportunity. As such, Sonny’s enemies are increasing while his power is shifting.

With Jason dedicated to his family and Mayor Laura leaving for Europe, that leaves two less allies for Sonny.

5 Allies Sonny Can Trust Right Now on GH

1) Brick

Played by Stephen A Smith, Brick has been a longtime fixer for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Over the years, Sonny has needed Brick to arrange information or take out enemies. Brick has also remained loyal to the mob boss, including saving his life multiple times.

While Brick may not remain part of Sonny’s larger employment network with the mob boss quitting the crime world, the two will likely continue to be friends. As such, during trying times, Sonny may turn to Brick for unwavering support. If he needs shielding from corporate rivals like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and mobsters like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Brick can easily step in to provide tactical support, surveillance handling, and intelligence gathering whenever required.

2) Ric Lansing

After years of jealousy and bitterness, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has recently reconciled with his half-brother, Sonny. Since both brothers value this reunion dearly, they will not jeopardize the newfound love and peace.

With this trust in his brother, Sonny may reach out to Ric when he needs support and help. From confiding in Ric to letting the latter look into legal technicalities, Sonny would greatly appreciate Ric’s support.

3) Justine Turner

As GH fans already know, Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) came to town to take down mob boss Sonny. However, while she's also had a glimpse into the softer and humane side of the mobster and has even fallen for him. However, at Justine’s persuasion, Sonny agreed to keep their romance a secret from the general public. As such, Sonny may expect help and support from Justine, even if that is discreet. Moreover, Justine is a clean law enforcer, making it easy for her to come to Sonny’s rescue now that he is a civilian.

4) Dante Falconeri

While Sonny learned about his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) much late in life, the two have built a trust over the years. Even though Sonny was a mobster and Dante, a cop, they both tried to protect Port Charles from malicious attacks. Recently, Dante welcomed his father’s decision to quit the mob while worrying about his safety.

In times of need, the civilian Sonny will prefer to turn for help to his clean cop son, Dante. The former mobster can be sure of getting the required help and efficient support from PCPD through Dante. The latter may even convince his boss, Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to help her longtime friend, Sonny.

5) Alexis Davis

Although Sonny and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) share a daughter, the mobster and the lawyer have been friends more than anything else throuh the years. Alexis and Sonny always know they can turn to each other in times of trouble and have a close relationship. When push comes to shove, Sonny knows that Alexis will always be by his side.
