Port Charles is facing a volatile period as several GH characters are poised for major turning points in their storylines. While many of the beloved residents have been facing difficult battles, some villains have enjoyed successful runs. Others have either fled town or been forced out by their enemies, such as Jason, Britt, and Rocco, who were forced to leave because of Cullum's actions. However, the coming months promise retribution for the show's villains, while some characters may need a stroke of luck to turn things around.
5 characters who need a change in fortune on GH
1) Lulu Spencer

Recent storylines have presented Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) as an overprotective mother. While she briefly explored a romantic relationship with “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey), it fizzled out after he suggested she skip town with her son. Eventually, her son Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) fled Port Charles, but chose Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) over Lulu.
While this may hint at Rocco trusting Britt more than Lulu, the latter may work to rebuild his trust if given the opportunity. Moreover, Rocco's situation has brought Lulu and her former husband, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), closer. With some luck, their renewed bond may blossom into a romance. As such, Lulu may need a little luck to bring her family back together.
2) Elizabeth Webber

For years, GH fans have witnessed Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) struggling to find lasting happiness in her relationships. While Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) remains her great teenage love, he is not the dependable partner the mother of three needs. On the other hand, Jason (Steve Burton) is a good friend and incredibly supportive, but Liz wants him away from herself and Jake because of the choices he makes in his line of work.
As such, after the tragic death of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), Liz never had a steady and dependable relationship, including her ill-fated romance with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). However, recently, her former husband, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), is back in town and making his feelings clear. Ric has expressed a desire to build a future with Liz. While previously their marriages ended in disaster, good fortune may finally lead them to a more stable relationship.
3) Brook Lynn Quartermaine

After a long wait to start a family, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has finally received a glimmer of hope. After trying to help Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) and her baby, Brook Lynn and her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), have welcomed baby Phoebe into their foster care. After Delilah died following childbirth, BLQ and Chase began looking toward adoption. At the same time, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is actively trying to push Chase toward an affair and destroy Brook Lynn's marriage.
If Brook Lynn plans to give Phoebe a stable home, she needs stability in her marriage. However, with Michael's selfish plans in motion, she may be staring down potential turmoil in her marriage. As such, Brook Lynn may need all the luck she can get if she hopes to make her dream of raising Phoebe come true.
4) Valentin Cassadine

As GH fans know, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is no hero. A complex character, Valentin has been involved in his share of shady dealings over the years, including his involvement with the Pikeman Group and tampering with Sonny's (Maurice Benard) medication. On the other hand, he is a loving father and a fiercely protective presence in the lives of many of Port Charles' younger residents.
His latest storyline finds him working alongside Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to take down the WSB. Initially aimed at Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), their recent confrontation left Brennan suffering from a stroke. On the other hand, his daughter, Charlotte (Bluesy Burke), informed him about everything happening at Wyndemere. As such, Valentin is prepared to storm Wyndemere with the resolve to take down the villains threatening Port Charles. In the process, he appears willing to sacrifice himself if it means protecting those he loves.
5) Rocco Falconeri

In a recent shocking turn of events, Rocco followed Britt to the piers and found WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) cornering her. Soon, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) arrived and quickly became involved in a fight. Rocco shot Cullum in the back to stop him from attacking Jason. In return, Jason took the fall and urged the teenager to remain quiet. However, Rocco's brother and Jason's son, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), saw Jason arrested and taken away. A shaken Danny turned to Rocco for answers.
Unable to reveal the truth to his brother and his sister, Rocco disclosed everything to Britt. While his parents vowed to protect him, the teenager witnessed the growing conflict between them. As such, he fled Port Charles with Britt using a fake passport. However, the search for him and Britt is on. Hence, he may need all the luck he can get to stay safe.
5 characters who may get their payback soon on GH
1) Ross Cullum

As mentioned before, Cullum cornered Britt and tried to kill Jason, thwarted by Rocco. On one hand, he is collaborating with mobster Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) in their secret sinister cold fusion project, while on the other, he is looking for his shooter. He tried to accost Danny and Charlotte but was forced to let them go.
However, he will continue to search for the absconding Rocco while his partner looks for Britt to complete their project. As such, Cullum has made enemies with too many people connected to Rocco. Moreover, former WSB, Valentin, is out for revenge. If Brennan is saved of his medical condition and Jason manages to return, Cullum will likely be vanquished by his powerful enemies, if they join hands.
2) Willow Tait

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has been playing dirty and getting away with things for a long time. Starting with cheating on her husband to shooting Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and trying to frame Michael (Rory Gibson) for it, she has been selfish. Moreover, she married the Congressman and injected him with paralytic drugs to take up his political position.
Currently, she is collaborating with Sidwell to keep her husband locked-in, while blackmailing her mother into collusion. On the other hand, she is also playing the victim to woo Detective Chase into empathy. However, her drama may get unraveled soon. Moreover, she may go down if her collaborators, Sidwell and Cullum, are taken down. As fans will agree, she will have earned all the misfortune and retribution she faces.
3) Nina Reeves

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has made many questionable decisions and actions in the past, including her affair with Drew Cain even when the latter was wooing her daughter Willow. While unhappy with Willow’s marriage to the Congressman, Nina continued to stay loyal to her daughter. As such, she offered to help care for Drew after his “stroke” landed him immobile.
However, her recent arc found her shocked to learn that Willow has kept Drew in his locked-in condition by injecting paralytic drugs. Moreover, Willow tricked her into administering the drug and blackmailed her into staying loyal. While a stricken Nina acquiesced, she mistakenly drugged Brennan, landing the latter in hospital. With her allegiance to her daughter’s sinister schemes coming to an end, Nina will likely get her reckoning alongside Willow.
4) Curtis Ashford

Fans know that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) supported his wife, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) despite angry about the latter’s secrets and lies. However, their relationship fell apart after Portia revealed cheating on Curtis with Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). With Portia pregnant with Curtis’s baby but courting a romance with Isaiah, the two men have developed an animosity.
The recent events show Curtis believing Isaiah to be the “other driver” who left him and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) suffer after causing their car crash. As such, Curtis complained against Isaiah and even interfered with the investigation, as the doctor refused to have his name cleared. An encounter between them ended in Isaiah provoking Curtis and the latter punching him. With Isaiah nursing a fractured hand and a ruined career, the DA’s office is charging Curtis with assault, a problem he invited himself.
5) Jenz Sidwell

Since his arrival in Port Charles in 2024, international drug lord, Jenz Sidwell, has looked for ways to do illegal business in the town. Moreover, he has been trying to usurp Sonny’s business. He has employed multiple nefarious methods to achieve his goal, from blackmailing Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to burning down Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) pub.
Sidwell’s current ploy is funding the cold fusion project and targeting to eliminate all hurdles in his path. That includes Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). With Sonny and Laura determined to take him down, armed with vital intel from Britt, Sidwell’s days may be numbered.
