5 GH Characters Who Can Foil Anna’s Plans for Britt

General Hospital's Anna Devane is not as well as she'd like her loved ones to believe. She has been hallucinating Peter August and his voice in her head has been telling her to elimate Britt so that Faison has no more living offspring. Thanks to Peter and her harrowing experience at the hands of Cullum, Anna thinks Britt is going to hurt her and this is the only way to keep her family safe. So, she is ready to buy land from Sonny and build a spot to get the job done.

5 Characters Who May Come to Britt’s Rescue in Time

1) Jason Morgan

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)are old friends and she trusts him implicitly. Jason may not realize that the broken Anna plans to target Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). As such, if he senses that Anna was possibly the last person seen with Britt, and that Anna recently acquired a piece of land on the Emerson Mountain, Jason may rush to the location. If he makes it in time, he may save Britt. However, Peter asked Anna to eliminate all hurdles, so in her addled state, she may attack Jason herself.

2) Valentin Cassadine

As longtime GH fans know, Anna was once in a close romantic relationship with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), till the latter skipped town to escape arrest. Valentin trusted Anna and Jason to take his daughter back home while he went on a run. Later, when Valentin escaped prison and returned to town as a fugitive, Anna was already held hostage in Wyndemere by Cullum. As such, it took months for them to reunite.

When Valentin witnessed Anna having a panic attack, he calmed her with cold vodka and breathing exercises. While Anna assured him that she was feeling better, Valentin wasn't so sure. If Valentin learns about Anna’s new space in the mountains, he may pay her an impromptu visit. Alternatively, recognizing signs of mental illness, Valentin may force Anna into therapy before she can ambush her victim.

3) Sonny Corinthos

Recently, Anna met Sonny and they compared notes. While Sonny encouraged Anna to go into therapy, she showed interest in buying a piece of his mountain land. Since Anna hinted at needing a quiet place away from people, Sonny assumed she needed the place to heal in solitude. As such, he agreed to the deal. However, Anna suggested that no one knows about the deal.

While exchanging information with Jason, or possibly Valentin, Sonny may share this new property deal. Since both Jason and Valentin know that Anna continues to suffer from serious panic attacks, they may worry about the commissioner living away from any possible help. They may plan to go to Anna’s new quiet space in the mountains.

4) Liesl Obrecht

Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is known as a very protective mother. Although she loved her golden boy, Nathan (Ryan Paevey), she is also fiercly protective of her other children. While she wants to know about Nathan’s twin, Cassius, who is presumed dead, she is vigilant about safeguarding her daughter, “Britta”. As such, she may be the first one to realize if Britt walks into Anna’s trap and goes missing.

Liesl will not wait or take things slowly. She may report the missing person at the PCPD, and even to Commissioner Anna. Moreover, she may inform Jason about it. Whether she waits for Jason to piece intel together or rushes to try and save her daughter herself remains to be seen. However, Liesl’s vigilance about Britt may alert Anna and discourage her from taking any drastic steps against her perceived enemy.

5) Josslyn Jacks

When Josslyn joined the WSB, Anna was one of the few who discovered the secret. As a former WSB herself, Anna had warned Josslyn against this career move. Later, Joss was held hostage in the same room where Anna was held, and Agent Jacks was the first to discover that Anna was kidnapped and broken.

In the current situation, Josslyn can help Anna discard the idea of targeting Britt. She may give an honest and clearer picture about the truth from Cullum reading Faison’s book to Cassius helping them break out.

She may convince her about Cullum being the real villain, while Cassius was the scapegoat. When she breaks Anna’s view about all Faison’s children being her enemies, the commissioner may let Britt go. Moreover, this may help Anna heal and Peter’s apparition vanish.
