5 GH Characters Who Could Be Pulled Into the Jack Brennan Murder Mystery

General Hospital's WSB Station Chief Jack Brennan is dead and buried, thanks to current villain duo, Drew Cain and Ava Jerome (at least the buried part). After months of being held paralyzed by his wife, Drew recovered and resumed being the terrible person he was before. In response, Jack threatened to expose his corruption. Drew roped in Ava into drugging Jack as he broke into Jack's room to retrieve the dirt Jack has on him. However, they failed to find intel but saw Jack floating dead in the pool.

Afraid of being blamed for what happened, they dragged Jack's body out of the water and buried him in the nature reserve by the Q crypt. Drew then planted Jack's wallet in Nina's car to set her up. Besides Ava, Drew, and Nina, some other Port Charles residents are directly involved with Jack's death. That includes Nina's daughter, Willow, because she had a deal with Jack, and Charlotte and Danny, for being the first to spot the dead body. However, others indirectly connected to the mystery include Valentin, Michael, Sonny, and even Lucas and Isaiah.

5 Characters Likely to Get Drawn Into the Mystery of Jack's Death

1) Michael Corinthos

As fans already know, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was in cahoots with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), as the latter suppressed evidence of her shooting Drew and got her exonerated. Moreover, Willow asked Jack to get some dirt on Michael and also recorded Jack incriminating. Additionally, Willow's mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was dating Jack before his death.

Whether Willow was involved in Jack's death is as yet unknown, Michael will likely look for some connection so that he can corner her. Michael may even collaborate with the family matriarch, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), to take Willow down. Unfortunately, Tracy may be pulled into Jack's death case because of the location of the dead body being near her estate. Jack's black box also has intel on Willow's collusion with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), which may be good leverage for Michael to destroy Willow's career. As such, he may be interested in knowing Jack's fate and the investigation around it.

2) Valentin Cassadine

Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Danny's (Asher Antonyzyn) expedition into the closed Metro Court pool made them the first to discover Jack's death. While they fled the spot, Charlotte's bracelet remained stuck to the dead body. Later, the teenagers realized that the body was not discovered and guessed that someone might have removed the body secretly.

If a panicked Charlotte reaches out to her father for help before her bracelet, caught on Jack's clothes, incriminates her, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may step in to save his daughter. Moreover, Valentin and Jack were former colleagues and both were in love with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Whether Carly also gets dragged into the mess remains to be seen.

3) Sonny Corinthos

While Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has no apparent connection with Jack's death, he may get embroiled in it because of Ava. Sonny and Ava have been fighting a long-drawn custody battle over Avery (Grace and Ava Scarola). Sonny's tendency to undermine and disrespect Ava in front of Avery has made her desperate enough to join hands with Drew and give in to his plans.

However, with Ava involved in drugging Jack and helping Drew illegally bury his body, she is carrying too many secrets that she cannot afford to disclose. Sonny may learn about Ava's involvement through his various sources. As such, Sonny may use this intel as leverage to seize full custody of Avery.

4) Lucas Jones

Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) may have two very definitive involvements with Jack's case, although he has nothing to do with the WSB chief's death. If Outback, the dog, digs out the loose gravel on the makeshift grave and Jack's body is discovered, Dr. Lucas may need to examine the body. As such, he may decipher that Jack was drugged and willfully murdered, instead of accidentally falling into the pool.

If Lucas declares Jack's death foul play, an investigation will soon follow. This may bring Ava's involvement to the fore. When Lucas finds his aunt being accused of the heinous crime, he may jump in to save her. However, if Drew tries to interfere with Lucas's findings, he may target the doctor, leaving Lucas in danger.

5) Isaiah Gannon

GH viewers witnessed Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) pull out a Lone Star tick from Ava's scalp. While he kept asking her about her movements to figure out where she came in contact with the tick, Ava lied, claiming she had pet a dog outside her gallery. Since the Lone Star tick is rare in the New York area, Isaiah plans to inform the CDC about its presence on one of his patients.

As fans know, Ava might have got the tick exactly where Outback is digging. This may mean Outback will likely get the same tick. The doctor may realize that Ava was at the spot. As such, unknowingly, Isaiah may get pulled into the mysterious disappearance of Jack Brennan.
