5 GH Characters Who Could Get Pulled Into Dante, Elizabeth, and Ric’s Mess

General Hospital's Ric is showing his possessive side again. He finally has Elizaebeth back in his life and is about to ruin it because of his insecurity. After Alexis, Ava, and Kristina kept Ric locked in Alexis' basement tied to a gurney with a ballgag in his mouth for a month, Ric resolved to change his life for better. He reconciled with his half-brother, Sonny Corinthos, and looked for honest love in Elizabeth, who seems to just be enjoying her time with Ric.

Last week, Ric contemplated proposing marriage with a ring. When he arrived at Elizabeth's house with flowers, he saw her checking Dante's knee injury and let his jealous streak show.

5 Port Charles Residents Likely to Be Impacted by Ric’s Behavior

1) Sonny Corinthos

As GH fans may remember, when Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) showed the ring to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), the latter warned him against rushing into marriage. Despite Ric ignoring his brother’s caution, Sonny wished the best for him. As yet, Sonny is unaware about the identity of the other man hinted at by Ric.

However, Ric is jealous of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), believing that the cop is developing a romantic interest towards Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). While the friendship between Elizabeth and Dante may not be of romantic nature, Ric doesn't want it to go there. If he tries to create a furor over this or harm Dante in any way, Ric will have to answer to Sonny. The former mobster is very protective of his children and will not tolerate anyone hurting his son, even if it is his own brother.

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) was the first person Ric rushed to after having his doubts about Dante and Liz. He tried to convince Lulu to act if she wanted to secure Dante’s love. Since Lulu is over Dante, as she informed her mother, she was not interested in collaborating with Ric to tear Dante and Elizabeth apart.

However, if Ric tries to target Dante, Lulu will be indirectly affected as she shares a long history with her former husband. Moreover, she may feel irked by Ric’s stance as Lulu clearly assured Ric that there is nothing romantic cooking between the suspected lovers. With Dante’s personal peace shaken by Ric’s paranoia, Lulu’s emotional space may get affected as well.

3) Molly Lansing

Molly Lansing (Kristen Vaganos) is Ric’s emotional anchor. As mentioned before, he turned his focus towards her after his recent distressing experience. While Molly gave her blessings to her father regarding his interest in Elizabeth, Molly would be rattled if her father does something foolish to achieve his love.

Being an astute lawyer, Molly is aware of the multiple ways Ric’s destructive move towards Dante may land them. Caught in the crossfire of her father’s actions, Molly may get agitated if Ric plans something dangerous. Moreover, Molly has a good rapport with Dante and Sonny, and would not like the boat rocked.

4) Rocco Falconeri

As a teenager with an impressionable mind, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) would be heavily impacted if his stoic and morally straight father falls prey to any emotional drama. Rocco himself is still struggling with his recent chaos and escapades. In his fragile mental condition, Rocco may not be able to handle any more emotional strain.

If Ric weaponizes family secrets connected to Rocco that he learned from Lulu, only to corner Dante, the teenager may feel responsible for his father’s embarrassment. Finding himself at the centre of the drama meant to corner Dante, Rocco will likely suffer emotional casualty.

5) Olivia Quartermaine

As GH fans have seen over the years, Dante’s mother, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) tries to mind her business, co-running Metro Court Hotel. However, she is fiercely protective of her family including her son Dante.

As such, if she finds out that Ric made a mountain out of a molehill for a softball injury check, she will likely unleash her Italian temper. She may jump in to defend her son and Ric won't like that at all.
