General Hospital's Josslyn Jacks learned that the WSB does not deal with local crime bosses, which meant her entire reason for joining the agency was for naught. So, she decided she is going to bring down Sonny Corinthos financially, while using JJE to do it. may be seeing a path to her lifelong goal as she plots a scheme to take down.
As the new CEO of her father's company, Josslyn and Hudson are formulating a strategy to buy out Sonny's businesses to financially destroy him. However, this move may impact many others as well.
5 People Impacted By Josslyn's Move On GH Storyline
1) Sonny Corinthos

This is needless to say, but if Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) tries to pull all JJE funds to buy every asset owned by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or the ones Corinthos Coffee invests in, the former mob boss would be bankrupt. Since Sonny has quit the crime world and wants to lead a non-criminal life with legal businesses, taking his businesses and assets would leave him without a financial support.
In the current scenario where Sonny is the chief suspect in a violent incident inside Pentonville prison, leaving his rival Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) injured, the former mob boss would need all the money and resources he can garner to fight his cases. As such, Josslyn's move can be a snag for him.
2) Jason Morgan

Once the right-hand man of mob boss Sonny, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has walked away from the mob world to focus on his son. However, with his former employer accused of ordering bloodshed inside the prison, Jason is likely to get involved. Since both Sonny and Jason planned their decision to exit the mob almost at the same time, Jason likely trusts that Sonny was not behind the Pentonville violence and was possibly framed.
In this situation, if Josslyn tries to run Sonny's finances dry, Jason will likely try to put a stop to it. On one hand, Jason has a close bond with Josslyn, while on the other, he shares a close friendship with Sonny. Jason knows that Sonny needs his fortune to support his civilian life and Josslyn's move will likely push Sonny back towards mob again. Trying to stop Josslyn would cause much friction for Jason as well.
3) Carly Spencer

As longtime GH fans know, Josslyn dislikes the fact that her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) shares a special bond with Sonny. Carly and Sonny have had a long association as Sonny is her former spouse, a former business partner, and a close friend. As such, despite Josslyn harboring extreme hate for Sonny, Carly has never given up on her other best friend.
With Sonny being accused of violence where he claims to have been falsely framed, Carly is likely to believe him. As such, she would try her best to help him find the real culprits and get exonerated of the charges. However, if Carly's daughter tries to openly destroy Sonny, it would create a situation where the mother and the daughter oppose each other. This would be very disturbing for both.
4) Gio Palmieri

Recently, GH viewers have seen Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) getting into a dilemma surrounding his grandfather, Sonny. While he was sympathetic about his friend Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and her father, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who endured collateral damage in the prison beatings, Gio could not make up his mind about Sonny's involvement.
To add to his problem, Gio's father and Sonny's son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) forbade Gio from trusting or believing Sonny. As such, Gio has mixed opinions about this whole episode. However, he may hope for evidence that proves Sonny innocent. At this time, if Josslyn targets Sonny and tries to ruin him financially and socially, Gio would also feel helpless and upset. Since Gio is friendly with Trina and Josslyn, his stance would be vital for both parties.
5) Ric Lansing

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) recently reconciled with his brother. While as family they are sticking together in the bad times, Ric is also Sonny's lawyer representing him. He will need to legally fight and save Sonny when official charges are made against him. At that time, Josslyn sucking away Sonny's assets will be a hindrance to Ric.
Moreover, Ric's current income comes from representing Sonny's various businesses. Since the former mob boss has been closing down his illegal businesses and turning them into legal investments, besides investing in new legal businesses, Ric has been handling all paper work related to these. With Josslyn targeting these, Ric will be left bereft of his main source of earnings. Whether he can push back against Josslyn's hostile takeovers legally remains to be seen.
