General Hospital's Harrison Chase shocked fans by choosing to regard Lulu Spencer's exposé on Congresswoman Willow Tait as fake news. He then accused his wife, Brook Lynn, of instigating the story along with Tracy and Michael.

Brook Lynn had been hoping that some situation would open Chase's eyes to the real Willow and expected Chase to realize his mistake of backing the congresswoman. She presumed that Chase would be contrite and return to her. Instead, he was the complete opposite, which means Brook Lynn must fight back.

5 Ways Brook Lynn Can Respond to Chase's Betrayal

1) Accelerate the legal separation and reclaim her fire

For many months now, fans have witnessed Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) bending over backwards to save her marriage. Anticipating danger from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Brook Lynn warned the congresswman away from her husband and even tried to frame Willow in a false case. However, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) stood firm in his obsession with protecting Willow. The misunderstandings between the couple pushed Chase to walk out and hire a lawyer for official separation.

After Chase openly sided with Willow and blamed his wife, Brook Lynn must take charge of her life. It is time for Brook Lynn to hire an efficient lawyer to help her protect her assets and parental rights during the separation. Moreover, she needs to drop her "perfect wife" image and go back to being the fiery Quartermaine and the strategic businesswoman who knew how to stand up for herself.

Since baby Phoebe is going to be a Quartermaine, Brook Lynn must focus on being a good mother and raising her to be a strong, proud woman like all Quartermaines. As such, she must play strong herself while surrounding Phoebe with love and support from her large family.

Moreover, she may ask Valentin to use his past WSB connections to drive an investigation into Willow's affairs. If that involves a WSB query, it would stop Chase from going out of the way to help Willow.

She may also change the narrative to garner sympathy for herself.

As a more practical move, BLQ should freeze all joint assets and financial machinery till the separation and custody are settled.
