General Hospital often springs new surprises, with meek victims turning into cold-blooded shooters and longtime villains seeming to have a warm heart. While the mob clash initially seemed to revolve around Sonny and Sidwell, the WSB's involvement has escalated the danger, drawing in more people than before. In such a situation, Port Charles may be awaiting the revelation of more than one villain in the coming days.

General Hospital: The expected villains of Port Charles

1) Jenz Sidwell

The international warlord, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), arrived on the General Hospital storyline in 2024 as part of Isaiah and Lucky’s story arc. However, he stayed back in Port Charles and worked the long game until he was able to blackmail Sonny and Laura into getting Sonny’s piers to take away Sonny’s piers. Plus he has planted Willow as his stooge in the congress after Drew became incapacitated.

An obvious villain, Sidwell can be cold and ruthless with a touch of sadism. From veiled threats to carnage, the mobster is capable of much. Sidwell enjoys torture, violence, and cruelty to his enemies. Moreover, he kills without regret, as seen during the deaths of Judge Heran and Professor Dalton. This makes Sidwell an obvious evil person in Port Charles.

2) Ross Cullum

WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is a new addition to Port Charles. However, since his arrival, General Hospital fans realized that he is the ultimate boss. While Brennan reported to him, he gave orders to Sidwell. As a highly placed official, Cullum enjoys considerable immunity while calling the shots wherever needed.

Cullum’s personality displays a calm and objective outlook towards the ultimate goal and the hurdles in the path. He seems apathetic towards any collateral damage in his mission. Moreover, Cullum has no emotional connection to anyone in town. All these make Cullum a scary, classic villain.

3) Willow Tait

When Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) first arrived in Port Charles, she was a sweet, timid pushover who utilized her past trauma to do good to others. As such, GH fans saw her as a teacher-turned-nurse who was a good mother. However, of late, Willow has turned selfish and nasty. Besides shooting Drew in the back, she also rendered him a vegetable by injecting drugs into him.

The current storyline finds Willow in a dark space where her evil turn was suddenly exposed to viewers. It has recently become evident that Willow will take orders from Sidwell, who will force her to hurt more people in town. Whether agreeing to follow Sidwell’s orders or trying to resist, Willow is undeniably an antagonist.

4) Ava Jerome

Since 2013, fans have witnessed Ava Jerome’s villainous traits. Ava (Maura West) has taken on enmity with Sonny despite sharing little Avery with the mob boss. Her association with Ric failed, while she has buried the hatchet with Kristina. For years, Ava has tormented people and wreaked havoc in town.

Currently, Ava is befriending Sidwell, knowing him as Sonny’s enemy, and may try to form an allegiance. To show her loyalty, Ava may choose to act in an evil way. This association, coupled with her past make Ava an understandable antagonist.

5) Cesar Faison’s connections

Here is a presumably deceased villain who continues to scare people in Port Charles. Played by Anders Hove, Cesar Faison terrorized many residents, including Anna, with whom he had an obsession. Faison is also the biological father of Peter, Nathan, and Britt. Faison was responsible for “killing” Nathan, prior to his 2025 resurrection.

Recently, two of Faison’s dead children, Britt and Nathan, were discovered alive, with Nathan having no memory of the past seven years since he was shot. Moreover, Anna heard Faison’s voice while in captivity, and hallucinated seeing the deceased Faison and Peter. It was revealed that Cullum, Sidwell, and Britt are working on Faison’s last project. All these pointers hint at an indirect threat from Faison, the supervillain.

Unforeseen possible antagonists of General Hospital

1) Michael Corinthos

The current persona of Michael Corinthos has bordered on dark and edgy since Rory Gibson took over the role in 2025. After his burn accident, Michael returned harboring anger toward Willow and Drew. Post their long-drawn divorce and custody battle, he found himself cornered as a suspect in Drew’s shooting.

Recent events portray Michael in a villainous light as he secured a fake alibi and fought Chase. While Michael had been a rebellious child since his teenage years and committed many hot-headed crimes, his current arc suggests that he may turn out to be dangerous in a ruthless way.

2) Marco Rios

As Lucas’s current boyfriend and Alexis’s assistant, Marco Rios (Adrian Achondo) seems to be growing more sinister by the day. Initially, his grief over losing his mother turned into anger towards Sonny, which his father, Sidwell, has exploited. However, of late, Marco has been actively involved in his father’s illegal business.

Marco was previously exploiting Lucas to gather information while threatening Britt to do his father’s bidding. His haste in trying to act violently, and even in masterminding moves against Port Charles residents, hints that Marco is more dangerous than predicted.

3) Josslyn Jacks

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has been part of General Hospital since a teenager. Her portrayal has so far been that of a hot-headed young adult who wants to shake off her criminal connections, from her uncle Jerry Jacks to her mother’s relationship with mobster Sonny Corinthos. As such, she dated a cop and later joined the WSB as an agent.

However, her fixation on taking down Sonny and other mobsters is forcing her to act violently and alone. She was recently seen trying to ambush Valentin and ordering Jason to confront Carly about her current association. Although considering herself a vigilante, if Josslyn turns unhinged in her mission, she may become dangerous to many people in town.

4) Charlotte Cassadine

Since childhood, Charlotte had displayed traits that bordered on malicious. However, as she grew up, the mischievous, troubled child became an angst-ridden, broody teenager. Currently portrayed by Bluesy Burke, Charlotte Cassadine is fiercely protective of her father and ready to jump to conclusions.

Charlotte recently overheard Nina and Brennan looking for Valentin and wanting to use her. As such, she may react with premeditated, sinister moves. Charlotte holds the dark Cassadine traits and prefers to emulate them, making her a potential villain.

5) Lulu Spencer

While a helpful protagonist before her coma, Lulu Spencer changed her persona after waking up, and found the world around her had changed. Played by Alexa Havins, Lulu shows an aggressive, ruthless trait blended with a vengeful streak. As such, she has become a suspicious and unscrupulous character who manipulated Cody and interfered with Gio’s paternity.

While being overly protective of her children, her stance is earning her their wrath. Rocco dislikes her controlling attitude about his contact with Britt, while Charlotte is blindsiding her about Valentin. Moreover, Maxie’s opinion about Lulu’s romance with Nathan may enrage her and bring out the fierce Lulu.

While every trouble in Port Charles rakes up some grudges, not every character becomes a villain. Whether the traits in the above-mentioned characters reveal their evil remains to be seen.
