We've been seeing quite a few new characters recently on General Hospital, including Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer). All we really know about him is that he used to be a WSB agent. Based on what we've seen of him so far, here are five questions we have about Tristan.
Does he have a personal connection to Anna?

When Anna (Finola Hughes) first met Tristan, he bought her a drink at the Metro Court pool, and he told her that he was a big fan of hers. He said she was a legend at the WSB. He even mentioned a few of the other WSB agents from the eighties, like Sean Donely (John Reilly) and Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner). For longtime GH fans, it was a nice blast from the past to hear those names.
Since then, we've seen Anna and Tristan share several more scenes here and there, like the time she approached him at the hospital and asked him to treat her after she nearly shot Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). She seems comfortable talking to him. Do they have even more in common than their past careers at the WSB? Some fans have wondered whether he might turn out to be her son or possibly Robert Scorpio's (Tristan Rogers) son. This question always pops up whenever a new soap character arrives on the scene with no family to speak of.
Will we see more scenes of him and Jason together?

As Tristan told Anna, his last WSB assignment was in Jakarta. Evidently, that was when he escorted Jason (Steve Burton) on the flight home to Port Charles after Jason was released from prison. When they parted ways, Tristan shook his hand and said, "Enjoy the rest of your life."
But is there any chance that we will see Jason and Tristan cross paths again? Will they somehow be involved in a storyline together? Jason is now working for his family's business, ELQ, and he's even becoming involved with Deception Cosmetics. But now that Tristan has gotten to know Anna (a close friend of Jason's), will the two ex-traveling companions run into each other again in a future storyline?
Why don't Tristan and Britt get along?

Ever since Britt and Tristan met, there's been some hostility between the two doctors. She has a hard time trusting anyone who is or who used to be in the WSB. In last Friday's episode, when the hospital staff held a party at the Brown Dog bar, Tristan told Felicia (Kristina Wagner) that Britt was "pretending" to be nice to him.
He gets along with all of his other co-workers, but he and Britt rarely ever see eye to eye. Will they eventually find a way to get along and possibly even become friends? Britt could definitely use more friends in her life.
What favor will he request from Willow?

When Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) visited Curtis (Donnell Turner) in the hospital after the prison beatings, she tried to convince Tristan to keep Curtis at GH for a few more days. Initially, Tristan told her that that wasn't necessary. But after she persisted in asking him, he eventually told her yes. He then added, "It never hurts to have a congresswoman in my debt."
Given what he said, we're fairly certain that a situation is going to arise where he will need the help of an influential person. That means he is likely going to ask her for a favor, and she will feel compelled to help him. What will that favor be? Will it be something involving a future patient of his?
Was Tristan responsible for Jack's death?

Shortly after Tristan arrived in PC, Jack (Chris McKenna) showed up at the hospital and asked him how he was settling in. Tristan was not at all happy to see Jack and immediately told him that he did not want anyone from the WSB showing up at the hospital. He firmly told Jack that he's trying to build a new career at GH.
Jack asked him, "And your reports?" Tristan replied that when he has something to report, that's when he will report it. "Until then, the bureau leaves me alone," he said. Jack answered, "I'm afraid you're not the one who gets to set those terms."
That conversation was sinister and cryptic. What were the mysterious "reports" that Jack was referring to? If Tristan's last assignment was escorting Jason home from Jakarta, then shouldn't he be free from all things pertaining to the WSB?
It seems that Tristan may still be entangled with the bureau somehow. And considering that Jack died under mysterious circumstances, it leaves us wondering whether Tristan might have had anything to do with his death. Jack's body has yet to be found in the nature preserve. Where is our favorite beagle, Outback, when we need her?
Dr. Tristan Roberts remains a man of mystery, and we can't wait for the GH writers to explore his character further. Let's hope we get answers to these questions and others very soon.
