5 Questions About What Comes Next for GH’s Chase, Brook Lynn, and Willow

Brook Lynn Quartermaine's family life is crumbling around her on General Hospital, as she deals with the fallout from revealing she was "the other driver" in Curtis and Jordan's car crash. After the truth came out, Chase proceeded to unburden himself to Willow Tait, including revealing that Brook Lynn's tried ro frame her. However, on BLQ's request, he agreed to wait before filing for an official separation. The current triangle between Brook Lynn, Chase and Willow hangs on an uncertain future for them.

For a long time, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase's (Josh Swickard) had the most stable marriage in Port Charles. Their relationship survived problems like Chase's infertility and Brook Lynn's teenage pregnancy revelation. Despite it all, they stood by each other through odds.

However, with the recent exposure of Brook Lynn's secret, her marriage fell apart. While BLQ's decision was based on her desire to adopt Phoebe, Chase thinks there is a lack of trust between them. As such, he wants to file for divorce, hoping for joint custody of baby Phoebe. While pushing for a separation, both Brook Lynn and Chase would want to secure Phoebe's future.

Since Chase reported Brook Lynn to the PCPD, there may be a minor legal action on her for hitting the guardrails and not reporting it to the authorities, but it won't be more than a fine. However, Chase informed his former wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), that Brook Lynn had framed her for the same crime. If the congresswoman considers making a formal complaint, BLQ's trouble may increase.

In such a scenario, Detective Chase may prefer to maintain distance with his wife. Whether he chooses to officially back the charges against Brook Lynn and push for her penalty, remains to be seen.

3) Will Michael's hidden agenda succeed?

As GH fans already know, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) has been deliberately trying to push Chase towards Willow. While Chase and Michael have both been married to Willow in the past, the latter is fighting a messy custody battle with the congresswoman for their two children. As such, Michael wants to ruin Willow's reputation by exposing her malicious intent.

In that context, an affair between Chase and Willow would help him. While Michael loves his cousin, he believes that Brook Lynn deserves better than Chase and may actively encourage the fallout between the couple.

While Brook Lynn's family is siding with her, on Tracy Quartermaine's (Jane Elliot) coaxing, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may urge Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) to accept his mother's decision and support her.

On the other hand, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has openly accused Brook Lynn of escalating the matter of her father's mess by remaining quiet. Along with Trina, her father and Jordan are likely to distance themselves. At the same time, in an effort to reconcile with Gio, Brook Lynn may reach out to his biological father, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Whether that opens the possibility of a return of the teenage romance, remains to be seen.

Chase views Willow as a blameless victim and has bent over backwards to help her. While he risked his career to rescue Willow from presumed unfortunate situations, he remains unaware of her dark secrets. With his marriage crumbling, Chase may lean more on her emotional support. However, when Willow's secrets eventually get exposed, Chase may be left regretting blowing up his stable family over the deception.

Moreover, Chase's savior complex may bite him in the back with Willow's exposure, as would his reporting his wife's connection with the Route 91 accident. With the DA's office taking cognisance of his actions, he may lose his credibility and even face interrogation.
