5 Reasons Charlotte’s Latest Move Could Change Everything for GH’s Valentin and Lulu

General Hospital's Charlotte Cassadine recently averted a serious mess when she embarked on a risky plan to entrap Drew Cain in a compromising position. A worried Danny Morgan reached out to Rocco Falconeri for help, so Rocco stepped in at the appropriate time and stopped his sister from getting herself in massive trouble.

With the incident taking place her hotel, Carly Spencer got involved as Rocco threw his sister under the bus. Later, Carly called Valentin Cassadine and told him that he needed to deal with his wayward daughter.

5 Steps for Valentin and Lulu Moving Forward on Charlotte's Parenting

1) Valentin may accept the efficacy of Lulu's strictness

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) had recently chastised Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for his parenting style. Lulu accused him of not keeping strict boundaries and not expecting accountability from their daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke). While Valentin admitted to being lax, he believed that Lulu's parenting method pushed Charlotte away from her mother.

However, with Charlotte's latest reckless scheme, Valentin may realize that his daughter has been misusing her freedom and making wrong choices. He may concede that his parent-friend dynamic did more harm than good and he may read the riot act to his daughter.

2) A united front to keep Charlotte from legal crisis

Charlotte's parents may come together in a joint effort to school her. Since both want to protect Charlotte from legal issues, they may join hands despite having nothing else in common. While this will likely be a transactional truce, this may provide Charlotte with the shield and moral foundation to keep her within limits.

While Lulu is an overprotective mother, a quality that irked Charlotte, Lulu also has a natural instinct, both as a mother and a journalist, to know when trouble could be brewing. As such, Valentin trusts her instincts about Charlotte. If she foresees her daughter in trouble, she may relay the same to Valentin who may use his wealth and connections to make the problems disappear.

3) Agreeing on mutual hostility towards outside influences

Rather than believing that Danny is a bad influence on Charlotte, Lulu feels Charlotte is a bad infulence on Danny. However, Valentin disagrees since Charlotte has very few friends. As such, he wants Charlotte and Danny to interact as healthy teenagers.

However, after Charlotte's recent muddled scheme to help Danny, Valentin may rethink his opinions. While both Lulu and Valentin do not blame Danny, and think he is a good boy, they may realize that Charlotte's interactions with Danny may continue to pose problems for them.

4) Relying on Laura's advice and mediation

A few months ago, Valentin Lulu's mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), for help in dealing with Charlotte and Lulu. As such, Laura had helped convince Lulu that keeping Charlotte away from her father would do more harm than good. Currently, both Lulu and Valentin are aware that Laura has a good influence on all youngsters.

Charlotte's parents may reach out to Laura for help and advice. They may also ask the mayor to intervene and counsel Charlotte against irresponsible plans. Mayor Laura may step in to shield her granddaughter from legal issues while providing a solution to calm the young Cassadine down.

5) Pooling assistance from other responsible adults

As fans witnessed, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) stepped in at the Metro Court parking lot and dragged Charlotte to her office, where she called Valentin and handed Charlotte over, along with the truth. Carly also tried to get Charlotte to see how reckless her act was.

An agitated Lulu may share her worries about Charlotte with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who is again the interim commissioner at PCPD. Dante may assure Lulu about the extent of legal pressure that Charlotte could face in any reckless action. Both Lulu and Valentin may create a network of responsible and trustworthy adults, such as Laura, Carly and Dante, to keep Charlotte safe.
