5 Reasons General Hospital’s Brook Lynn Should Still Be Wary of Willow

Toxic drama is looming on General Hospital's Quartermaine estate with Michael Corinthos instructing Willow Tait to move in into the gatehouse. While Tracy initially refused, Michael emotionally manipulated her into giving in. Tracy stuck to her promise when a shocked Brook Lynn asked her to forbid Willow from moving back onto the grounds.

Brook Lynn is now a complete nervous wreck, especially after seeing Willow smile and bat her eyes at Chase when he helped her move. That means trouble is on the way.

5 Ways Willow’s Arrival May Ruin Brook Lynn’s Life

1) Constant distraction for Chase

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is constantly trying to draw Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) into her orbit by playing the innocent victim. Chase, in turn, trusts her and, as a cop, wants to play the hero. While Chase is not cheating on his wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), the latter knows Willow wouldn't mind if he did. To add to her woes, her cousin, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), had been deliberately pushing Chase and Willow together to get dirt on Willow.

With Willow in close vicinity, and possibly looking to impress Chase, Brook Lynn will have a problem in holding her marriage together. Despite Chase promising his loyalty to his wife, he will not be able to resist Willow if she asks for help and assistance.

2) Threat to family unit with Phoebe

Brook Lynn cannot afford to have Chase focus away from their newly formed family. After the recent finalization of Phoebe Chase’s (Lucia & Luna Creighton) adoption, the new parents are expected to raise the baby with complete dedication.

If Chase’s attention is taken up by Willow’s problems and he gets involved in solving her minor and imaginary issues, Phoebe and BLQ will likely get neglected. Moreover, BLQ knows the Willow may summon Chase for non-existent issues shattering her family life.

A few weeks ago, Brook Lynn had decided to teach Willow a lesson. As such, she had made a deal with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to lie to the police about the night of the Jordan Ashford's (Tanisha Harper) crash.

However, she admitted the truth to Chase, which her husband understood and sympathized with. While Tracy and Michael also know about this mischief, Congresswoman Willow may cause a stink if she learns what Brook Lynn did. She may even call the police on Brook Lynn.

4) Loss of authority and emotional sanctuary

Michael coerced Willow into staying at the family gatehouse. At the same time, he invoked Monica's name to get Tracy to agree to this arrangement. As such, Tracy reluctantly accepted for the sake of Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sienna Goerisch). However, there was no family discussion and BLQ’s opinion was not heard.

When the panicked Brook Lynn asked her grandmother to turn Willow away, the matriarch stuck to her promise to Michael. Brook Lynn may now feel that she is losing authority and relevance in her own house. Moreover, with the constant paranoia, stress and anger, her home may cease to be the comfortable sanctuary it is meant to be.

As expected, with Willow’s arrival, there is likely to be much friction in the house. Michael and Willow's differences may be aired out in the open. This may affect Wiley, Amelia, and even, Phoebe. There may be a cold war between Michael and Chase which will affect the family.

Besides the fallout between the divorced couple, Willow’s accusations about Michael drugging her and the counter evidence Michael holds on her may become public knowledge. As Willow brings the legal warfare home, BLQ may be left to clean the mess after the fallout.
