General Hospital's Scout Cain is in a budding relationship with Rocco Falconeri. However, neither of the teenagers wants to expose their association, particularly when Scout's father, Drew Cain, does not want her to have any contact with the Falconeris, the Spencers, and the Quartermaines. As such, Scout let her father think that she spent time with her half-brother, Danny Morgan, even though she was with Rocco. Unfortunately, Drew dislikes Danny and has a restraining order issued against him.

Later, Scout met Danny to tell him about Drew's assumption and how she threw him under the bus. As an excuse, she said she was at the PCU lake party. While Danny forgave Scout, Charlotte rebuked him for believing Scout. Charlotte went on to tell Danny that there might be a boy that Scout is dating, but keeping it a secret. Going by the sweet yet cold vibe towards each other, Charlotte and Scout may become the newest rivals in Port Charles.

5 Things That May Make Charlotte and Scout into Rivals

1) Charlotte is protective about Danny

Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) have been close friends since Charlotte returned to town. After Charlotte's brother, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), landing Danny's father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), in WSB custody, Danny was left alone. Charlotte stayed by his side and even went against her brother when she learned that her parents were shielding Rocco while letting Jason rot in prison.

Currently, Charlotte could spot that Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) was lying to Danny while letting him face the brunt of Drew Cain's (Cameron Mathison) wrath. Appalled at Scout's selfishness, Charlotte will continue to stay protective of Danny. She may plan to execute a daring scheme to take Drew down.

2) Charlotte may find Scout and Rocco's romance weird

While Scout and Rocco plan to keep their newfound romance a secret for now, the truth is bound to come out. There is a possibility that Charlotte will dig out the truth by spying on Scout. However, when Charlotte learns about Scout getting romantically involved with Rocco, she may find that weird.

While Rocco and Scout are not related by blood, as General Hospital fans already know, Charlotte may still find it odd that Rocco should get involved with someone he stayed with a few years ago in a step-sibling arrangement. Moreover, Rocco keeping his romance a secret from Charlotte, as she stumbles onto it, may also feel like an awkward situation. Moreover, Charlotte and Danny may find it more bizarre that both their siblings are romantically involved with each other.

3) Scout may not like how much Charlotte hates her dad

Charlotte and Danny plan to take Drew down; their plan may add more of a rift and resentment in the mix. Charlotte is likely to push for a daring scheme, such as arranging for Drew to be found with someone like her (or her). Their aim would likely be to embarrass Drew publicly and make him squirm under public pressure.

However, recently Scout has started having a better rapport with her father, as Drew helped her with her math homework and the father-daughter duo enjoyed hanging out together. As such, when Scout learns that Charlotte planned this dirty scheme to destroy her father's reputation, she may be furious with her.

4) They are both skilled liars, causing friction

Charlotte is a skilled liar, as Valentin has pointed out. Even when Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) kept a tight leash on her, Charlotte could sneak out to meet her father without anyone the wiser. That makes her a master deceiver.

On the other side, Scout shows a similar skill as she was recently seen lying to her father about her whereabouts. She met her grandmother and aunt but kept it a secret from her father. Moreover, she lied to Danny about being at the college Labor Day party when she was spending time with Rocco, a lie Charlotte caught immediately. However, when they try to out-lie each other, there are likely going to be clashes.

5) They are both Cassadines, leading to clashes

Charlotte and Scout's personalities both have one thing in common. Both have Cassadine blood coursing through their veins. Scout's maternal grandmother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), born Natasha Cassadine, is Mikkos Cassadine's daughter. Charlotte's father, Valentin Cassadine, is Victor Cassadine's son. Mikkos and Victor are brothers. That makes Charlotte and Scout second cousins.

As such, both the girls show hints of the dark, stormy temper and manipulative behavior that the Cassadines are famous for, which would make them strong adversaries in the future.
