General Hospital's Britt Westbourne made a drastic decision when she hooked up with a mysterious stranger at the Brown Dog Bar. After believing she was dying for several years (only to find out she had been manipulated) and her breakup with Jason, Britt lashed out at everyone around her. She was also ripe for a one-night stand. Did she just make the biggest mistake of her life?
5 Ways Britt Is Making Wrong Choices on GH
1) Rejecting olive branches in me-against-the-world stance

As the recent interactions between Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and her colleagues have been shown, she has maintained the caustic temper that she is known for. At the Brown Dog, Britt threw a tantrum and ruined the night for everyone, including her friend, Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
Although others tried to calm her down, Britt refused to stop uttering hurtful remarks. Eventually, the others had to leave and they took the party to Lucas and Joe's place, while leaving Britt behind. This attitude of casting herself as the loner against the rest of the world forces Britt to make faulty decisions.
2) Reckless response for a broken heart

After the Spoon Island fiasco, Britt lost her brother, but found Jason Morgan again. He was back in town
However, a mentally unwell Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) lured her a secluded spot and tried to shoot her dead. It was Jason who saved her and calmed Anna. However, he refused to side with Britt against Anna. This broke Britt's heart. Her fierce remarks to Jason whenever they meet show that she is not over him yet. This broken heart forces her to respond with reckless moves and a rude attitude.
3) Overlooking red flags in a stranger encounter

After driving the GH staff out of the Brown Dog, Britt was approached by a stranger with an Australian accent. The stranger paid a back-handed compliment to her by congratulating her for emptying the space of the entire crowd by her behavior.
Later the stranger offered to hook up with her for a no-commitment one-night stand. Feeling rebuffed by Jason and hurt by his lack of support for her, a drunk Britt decided to go for this adventure with the stranger. The strange man refused to disclose his identity and proceeded to call her "Stunner" while she called him "Crackerjack". However, all the red flags — a stranger's arrival in Port Charles, his secrecy about his identity, and his push for an intimate encounter with no strings attached — did not bother Britt.
4) Blindly defending criminals in defiance

Althought Britt was Willow's OB through most of her pregnancy with Amelia, they had no idea they were cousins. Recently, the two women have become close, acknowledging their family ties.
Since both women are lonely, losing their allies, they may consider teaming up. However, Britt's attempt at shielding Willow despite knowing about the latter's crimes may come as a surprise to GH fans. Moreover, since Britt may consider the people who are targeting Willow as her enemy, such as Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), she may deliberately make the choice to back a criminal.
5) Years of deception promoting wrong choices

As fans know, Britt and others in Port Charles were under the impression that Britt had Huntington's and was eventually dying. Most of Britt's choices and decisions were based on that presumption. After years of being manipulated to side with the villains, to acquire the experimental drug that presumably kept her alive, Britt learned that she didn't have the disease. Her Huntington's was a lie fabricated to control her.
This left Britt with a skewed personality. Her "Britch" persona failed to vanish overnight. As such, when she and Jason had a fallout, Britt chose to bring back her nasty side. In her current state of mind, she is likely making a series of mistakes, which may land her with more losses.
