5 Reasons GH’s Britt Should Run Far Away From Jude Jacks

In a rebound reaction after her breakup with General Hospital's Jason Morgan, Dr. Britt Westbourne hooked up with a stranger she met at the Brown Dog. After giving each other fake names to hide their true identities, Britt spent a passionate night with a new Australian mystery man. In her next meeting, she refused to get to know his real identity, even though Jude Jacks wanted to come clean.

However, a chance run-in with Josslyn Jacks revealed Jude's identity to Britt. After she pulled Jude away from his argument with Joss, Britt realized that Jude is Jerry Jacks' son. This alarmed Britt and she walked out on the newcomer. How long she will stay away from Jude and his chaos remains to be seen.

5 Cautionary Points to Scare Britt Off from Jude's Association

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) got into a disagreement with her former boyfriend, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) at the Brown Dog, and then proceed to misbehave with her colleagues. Left alone, she was approached by a stranger with whom she hooked up for a passionate night.

However, during another chance meeting, she witnessed the stranger being addressed as "cousin" by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and vice versa. Britt learned that the stranger is Jude Jacks (Wil Traval), the so-far-unknown son of the infamous Jerry (Sebastian Roché), who had terrorized Port Charles in the past. As Jerry's son, Jude may continue his nefarious activities.

As yet, Britt witnessed the altercation between Jude and Josslyn, which threatened to turn ugly. Moreover, Josslyn warned Britt against getting close with Jude, asking her cousin to leave town. Jude made a cryptic remark about knowing where he belongs and what belongs to him. With that, Britt may assume a property angle here.

However, Josslyn believes that Jude is in town to take what is hers regarding her father's company JJE. Josslyn's alleged ally, and JJE employee, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel), stated that part of his job profile involved keeping Jude away from sensitive aspects of JJE intel. This points at a looming battle over JJE entitlements where Jerry's son may play dirty when it comes to Josslyn's inheritance. Britt may not want to be found an ally of Josslyn's enemy.

3) Britt is unaware of Jude's intentions

In an extension of the previous point, Britt may assume that Jude is here to challenge Josslyn's inheritance, based on the cousins' altercation. However, she does not know that Jude is claiming Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) as his biological daughter. He is planning to nullify Phoebe's adoption and take the baby away from her adoptive parents, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Jude has already met Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to discuss challenging the adoption and claiming his paternal rights on Phoebe. Since Alexis handled the adoption, she wouldn't want Phoebe to lose the safe and loving home she has. As such, claims over Phoebe may lead to a nasty battle in the coming days. Britt, who was the doctor who delivered Phoebe, will likely not want Phoebe to lose her stable home.

Britt watched Jude's attitude change as he called out Joss as his cousin, but Josslyn's accusations brought out the worst in him. Soon, they were in each other's faces threatening one another. To everyone's surprise, Jude showed no discretion when he stood up to Josslyn.

On the contrary, he let his ferocious streak show so that Hudson had to step in to shield Joss. Britt also had to pull Jude away from Josslyn. What Britt does not know as yet is that Jude has a gun in his hotel room drawer, hinting at the possibility of more violent activities.

5) Britt has to stay clear of unlawful connections

As fans already know, Britt was manipulated by the deceased WSB agent, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), into working on a dangerous secret mission. Now that Cullum is dead and the mission is dissolved, and Britt is cleared to work as a doctor at the General Hospital, she must be careful about her associations.

Britt may become a person of interest if she is connected to any unlawful activities or people of questionable character. Both the PCPD and the WSB would like to pull up her past reputation and interrogate her. As such, Britt would be wise to keep a distance from Jude for her own good.
