Away General Hospital constant mob wars and other chaos, Michael Corinthos has developed a mature friendship with the CEO of his company, Jordan Ashford. While Jordan a bit older than Michael and also her boss at Aurora Media,, the latter is her boss as the owner of Aurora Media, her new workplace. However, after her experiences as a cop and at other administrative offices, working in a media house will be a new experience for her.

Recently, Michael was seen sympathizing with Jordan when his cousin Brook Lynn's secrets were revealed and Jordan learned that BLQ was the other driver when she had her near-fatal car crash. While Brook Lynn was at fault for the accident, she chose to remain quiet despite misunderstandings galore that landed Curtis Ashford in prison.

With Curtis in prison, Jordan and Michael have been spending more time together and find they enjoy it. Could there be something more one day?

5 Arguments Favoring Jordan and Michael's Pairing on GH

1) Michael and Jordan have similar trauma to share

Before being sent to Pentonville, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) asked for Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to hire Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) as the new Aurora CEO. Michael agreed right away, based on Jordan's work experiences. As they interacted in professional and casual settings, they discovered they have a lot in common.

While Michael navigates complicated family equations, Jordan shared her fallout with her sister. They also have accident trauma and scars in common. Michael was a victim of a blast-related fire and needed to go to a burn clinic in Germany. Meanwhile, Jordan needed to be rescued from her car crash and subsequent fire, leaving her with scars across her face. Facing similar ordeals may help them bond at the same level.

2) Intelligent professionals with no appetite for drama

While Jordan and Michael's relationship is professional, they can interact with each other on friendly terms. An example being Michael recently extending an invitation to the barbeque at the Quartermaine mansion where Jordan learned about Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) being the "other driver". However, Jordan walked away and refused to lodge any complaint, showing a clear distaste for drama.

This is a quality Michael may share with her, since he may bond with her outside of the drama of the Quartermaine family and the Corinthos mob culture. He has been exposed to much theatrics from his mother, his father, his WSB agent sister, and his former wife. Compared to all of them, Michael may find Jordan's wise and calm demeanor reassuring.

3) Current single status with professional proximity

As GH fans know, Michael is already divorced from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and the former couple is constantly fighting. While Willow married Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and divorced him, Michael explored a romance with Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) which he ended over the latter's reckless action. Currently, Michael is officially not in a relationship.

On the other hand, Jordan is in a romantic relationship with her former spouse Curtis. However, Curtis is in prison with no parole for two years, leaving Jordan in need of a friend. With constant proximity with Michael for professional reasons and their good rapport, a newfound bond is developing.

4) Regard each other without past baggage

As mentioned before, Michael's past relationships have been distressing. At the same time, Jordan's marriage with Curtis ended due to the latter's high moral standards and lack of understanding about Jordan's professional requirements. On the personal side, Michael comes from a family embedded in mob culture, danger and drama, while Jordan shares a caustic relationship with her sister.

However, they can look at each other with fresh eyes without the past weighing them down emotionally. Carrying no baggage from the past, they are really getting to know one another for the first time. Their fresh dynamic is free from the high-intensity baggage of their respective exes.

5) Mature chemistry, mutual respect, and soapy conflict

As GH viewers have noticed, Michael and Jordan's interactions and approach to problem-solving have a distinct mature quality as compared to other volatile relationships on the soap. They share a grounded and realistic rapport that is characterized by mutual admiration and not teenage-like emotion.

Both need a stable sounding-board and a confidante. As such, their bond is based on companionship and amity. However, if this develops into a closer association, it may call for an emotional and moral conflict involving Michael's friendship with Curtis, and a possible interference from his family. Moreover, Jordan being somewhat older than Michael, this would be an unexpected romance for everyone in Port Charles.
