5 Reasons GH's Sonny Could Be Underestimating Josslyn

General Hospital's Josslyn Jacks scored a major win over Sonny Corinthos, albeit using illegal moves. Multiple bidders competed to acquire the Piers 55 and 56, which originally belonged to Sonny before Jenz Sidwell took them over. After Sidwell's arrest and imprisonment, alongside his other assets, the piers were also opened for bidding. Eager to take back his property, Sonny encouraged Ric Lansing to bid the highest.

However, Josslyn Jacks was seen committing corporate espionage by hacking into the Metro Court's internet. She instructed Hudson Parker to look into the top bidder and top that amount. After Josslyn and Hudson bid at the last minute, the results were revealed and Josslyn acquired the piers. Sonny accepted his defeat but asked her to hand the asset over to him. However, Joss refused and challenged him, promising to take him down eventually. In response, Sonny pledged to not take this casually.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) asked the VP of her father's company, JJE, to help her move large amounts of company funds to bid for the piers. She knew that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) desperately wanted his piers back, and felt it was the perfect way to hit him where it hurts.

She hacked into the Metro Court computers and forced Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) to look into the highest bid and outbid that. While not totally convinced of Joss's intentions, Hudson played on her side and they acquired the piece of property. As the CEO of JJE, Josslyn is Hudson's boss and is likely to employ all his skills to her advantage.

In her recent move on Sonny, Josslyn committed corporate espionage when she hacked into the computers to outbid everyone else. This discovery will likely take Sonny by surprise. So far Sonny knew Josslyn as a straitlaced, law-abiding student and expected her to play by the rules.

However, she displayed an impressive level of smartness in her espionage plans when she manipulated the silent auction app to come out the winner. She was not hesitant about bending the rules to fit her needs. Since what she may do next or how far she may go is unknown to Sonny, she may remain an enigma for him.

3) Josslyn holds a cleaner image than Sonny

When the rivalry between Sonny and Josslyn becomes public, their position would incite different opinions from others. Unlike Sonny, who spent his life as a criminal, Josslyn has good work to show. As such, Port Charles residents view Sonny as a criminal. even after he announced his exit from the crime world.

Josslyn has a clean image. Before she even graduated from college, she joined the WSB to fight crime. While the spy organization knows that she has killed, they were the villains who she helped eliminate. Currently, she is officially the CEO of her father's company, Jasper Jacks Enterprises. This all looks aboveboard and in the purview of the law, earning her public and legal support.

Committing corporate espionage shows that the WSB trained Josslyn well. She was fast, resourceful, and smart. She also showed leadership skills when she mapped out her idea and gave the right orders to Hudson. Her experience in the spy organization has turned her more self-assured and dangerous.

Unlike what Sonny believes, the WSB has helped train Josslyn in combat and killing, leaving her ready for ruthless battles. While Sonny thinks his rivals may target Josslyn and he needs to save her, Josslyn may be more than capable of defending herself while planning another attack on Sonny.

As the recent corporate espionage showed, Josslyn is planning to pull all stops in her fight with Sonny. Currently, Sonny has been framed for a crime he did not commit and most of his loved ones have abandoned him. With very few people ready to believe in his declaration that he did not order the Pentonville attacks, Sonny is distracted.

While this might not be a good time to attack and take down Sonny, Josslyn is indifferent to the sensitivity of the timing. Since she believes Sonny is behind the prison violence and plans to ruin him, she will be ready to fight by hook or by crook.
