Wednesday's episode of General Hospital featured Ava (Maura West) lawyering up with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and confessing her part in Jack's (Chris McKenna) disappearance. Her goal is to gain full immunity from her crimes of drugging and burying Jack, while Drew takes the fall. Ava is ready to tell the WSB where Jack's body is buried, but here are five reasons why her plan may backfire.

Joe may find Jack's body before Ava talks to Baines

Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) is already suspicious of Ava, since she was seen talking to Jack at the Metro Court shortly before he disappeared. When Joe spoke to Ava at the Port Charles Grill and asked her what the conversation was about, she avoided answering him, and she abruptly left the restaurant. Didn't she realize that made her look suspicious?

So, what if Joe is somehow able to locate Jack's body and he finds evidence of her DNA on it, since she and Drew were the ones who buried Jack? And what if Joe finds the body before Ava confesses all to Agent Baines (Alimi Ballard)?

Drew may make good on his threat to send Scout to boarding school

Drew has engaged in many verbal battles with Alexis since Sam (Kelly Monaco) died, and all because Alexis simply wants to spend some quality time with her granddaughter, Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski). The last time Alexis and Drew argued, he threatened to send Scout to boarding school.

Once he finds out that Ava has turned on him and has hired Alexis to defend her, it may be the last straw for Drew. He may follow through on his threat and send Scout to boarding school out of spite. Or, he may demand that Alexis drop Ava as her client, or else he will send Scout away.

Drew may threaten to expose Ava as the culprit behind the prison beatings

We all know how much Drew loves seeking revenge on the residents of Port Charles. Once he finds out that Ava has turned on him, he may threaten to expose her as the person who orchestrated the prison beatings. Even though he teamed up with her, he did mention that she was the one who came up with the idea.

Ava will be terrified if Drew rats her out, since Curtis (Donnell Turner) stepped in to save Sidwell (Carlo Rota), which led to his beatdown as well. Ava knows that if Drew tells on her, then Trina (Tabyana Ali) will find out, and she will be furious. Trina has always looked up to Ava as a good friend and even as a mentor, due to their working relationship at the Jerome Gallery. If Trina finds out that Ava orchestrated the Pentonville beatings that sent her father, Curtis, into the hospital, then Trina will be furious and will cut Ava out of her life.

Drew may try to ruin Ava's career at the art gallery

We know that when someone is out to get Drew, he will strike back in any way he can. One way he might do that is by targeting Ava's art gallery. He may rely on his connections from his days as a congressman to torpedo Ava's reputation as a reputable seller of fine art.

We wouldn't put it past Drew to break into her gallery, find a list of people she's sold artwork to, and discourage them from purchasing at the gallery ever again. Drew will do whatever it takes. Heck, he was even willing to bulldoze his own family's crypt just to stick it to the Quartermaines.

Drew may hire Martin to do something underhanded

It's been a while since we've seen Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight), but he's been known to do underhanded things for Drew in the past. Remember the time he forged Monica's (Leslie Charleson) will and blackmailed Monica's sister, Ronnie (Erika Slezak), into signing a document that would have named Drew as the new owner of the Quartermaine estate? Thankfully, our favorite beagle, Outback, foiled that plan when she snatched the document in her mouth and ran off with it!

Drew would have no qualms about enlisting Martin's help in threatening or blackmailing either Ava or Alexis, or both of them. So, Ava better be prepared for Drew's retaliation, now that she has hired Alexis to represent her.

Do you think Ava's plan will work? Do you want her to get full immunity and make Drew pay for everything they both did to Jack? Sound off in the comments.
