General Hospital's Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is planning a trip to Germany to have her scars from the car accident surgically removed. Michael (Rory Gibson) offered to accompany her, but there are multiple reasons why she should go alone and he should remain in Port Charles. Here are five reasons why he shouldn't go to Germany with her.
Jordan can handle this trip on her own

Jordan is a smart, independent woman who can handle this trip and the surgery on her own. She doesn't need Michael to come with her when there is so much upheaval right now in Port Charles that involves multiple members of his family.
Even though Michael is Jordan's friend and he is offering her moral support, she can take care of herself. If she goes to Germany alone, she could always do a video chat with Michael if necessary. The chat could even include the surgeon who is scheduled to remove her scars.
Michael should be where his attention is needed most, and that is in PC, so he can help his family deal with all of the pressing matters at hand.
Michael should visit Curtis in the hospital

Since it seems up in the air whether Curtis (Donnell Turner) is going back to prison after he's discharged from the hospital, Michael should visit him while he is still hospitalized. They are friends and co-workers at Aurora Media. Michael could be instrumental in brokering peace between Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Curtis.
Michael has some idea of how the mob world works, even though he stays out of it. He is shrewd enough to know that Sonny would never give his name away after a beatdown. Maybe if Michael told Curtis that, Curtis might take it into consideration, since Michael knows Sonny much better than Curtis does.
Maybe Michael would have the guts to tell Curtis that he should have heeded the inmate's warning to stay away from the cell after lunch. The only reason Curtis was beaten was because he intervened after one inmate pulled a knife on Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Someone needs to be straight with Curtis and tell him flat out that it's his own fault he was beaten.
Sonny needs Michael's support

Sonny has spoken to all of his loved ones about the prison beatings, but Michael has been conspicuously absent. Why hasn't he paid Sonny a visit? Michael has known Sonny longer than any of Sonny's other children have known him. He should be visiting Sonny, so we can find out whether or not he believes in Sonny's innocence.
He would likely give Sonny the benefit of the doubt. Sonny could use Michael in his corner right now. All he needs to do is tell Michael that Drew (Cameron Mathison) has become his latest enemy, and Michael may figure out that Drew was behind the beatings.
One thing that Sonny, Michael, and Curtis all have in common is that they all hate Drew. Michael could help Curtis and Sonny devise a plan to retaliate against Drew.
Michael needs to expose Willow as Drew's shooter

When Michael first learned that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) shot Drew, he confronted her and told her he had signed affidavits from Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). Willow tried to hit him with a rolling pin. That was two months ago. Why has Michael been keeping those documents hidden from the rest of PC? She is obviously unstable and a danger not only to Drew but to him as well. Why is Michael allowing her near Wiley and Amelia?
Everyone in PC would love to know that Willow really did shoot Drew, even though she was acquitted. Michael has all the ammunition he needs to expose her as an attempted murderer. Why has he been holding on to the affidavits for so long?
Sidwell is now lying and claiming that he never made any accusations about Willow to Lulu (Alexa Havins). Now is the time for Michael to bring those affidavits forward and make them public knowledge, exposing Willow for the dangerous person she is.
It's time for all of PC to find out everything she did to Drew. If Michael shows those signed affidavits to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) or someone else in the PCPD, then it could lend some credibility to Lulu's article and could shine a light on how unhinged Willow really is.
The Quartermaines need Michael's help to retaliate against Chase

Chase vowed to help Willow fight the Quartermaines, as he wrongly thinks they encouraged Lulu to write the article. Michael should stay in PC and help Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) retaliate against Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow. Michael is a self-proclaimed strategist, so Tracy and Brook Lynn could use his help in orchestrating a plan that would shut Chase and Willow down.
Chase should stay out of this mess that Willow created herself. Michael knows that he is being ridiculous. He knows how devious Willow is, so it would be in the Quartermaines' best interests if he remained in PC and helped them fight this most recent battle that Chase has dropped into their laps.
Are you wondering why Michael hasn't visited Sonny? Do you think he should visit Curtis in the hospital and get the lowdown on the prison beatings? Should Michael accompany Jordan to Germany? Sound off in the comments.
