5 Things GH’s Alexis Could Discover If She Takes Sidwell’s Case

General Hospital's imprisoned crime lord Jenz Sidwell knew something horrible was coming and he was right. Before Sonny's goons laid a hand on him, Sidwell requested that Alexis Davis to represent him...and call of Sonny. Sadly for Sidwell, Alexis wasn't interested. However, that may change when she learns of the subsequent prison beating that also claimed her good friend Curtis as a victim.

5 Secrets Alexis May Learn As Sidwell's Attorney

1) The depth of Willow and Drew's secrets

If Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) decides to become Sidwell's (Carlo Rota) lawyer, she may learn about the mobster's role in helping Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Sidwell supplied the paralytic drug that Willow used to keep her husband, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), in a locked-in state. While Alexis will learn more about the congresswoman's criminal activities, she may also come to know about Drew's crimes and corruption.

This will empower her with enough information to make safe decisions while helping her family and friends. She could even use the intel to gain more access to Scout.

2) Sonny's network inside Pentonville and his intentions

As mentioned before, Sidwell claimed to be in danger from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The prisoner claimed that Sonny would use his connections to try to kill him. While Alexis did not want to believe him, his prophecy has come true.

Alexis may be surprised to discover that despite quitting the mob world, Sonny continues to have a reliable network operating inside Pentonville. She may find that the former mob boss has not been able to change his ways and presumably uses old methods to remove his enemies.

3) The WSB and Sidwell nexus

While helping keep Sidwell safe inside the prison, Alexis may need to dig for much information. As such, she may need to know more about his enemies and allies. While she already knew that the mobster worked in tandem with the deceased, corrupt WSB agent, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), Alexis may also learn more about Sidwell's connection with the WSB.

She may get an insight into Jack Brennan's (Chris McKenna) connection with Sidwell and Valentin Cassadine's (James Patrick Stuart) history in the spy organization. Whether she stumbles onto the truth about Jack's disappearance remains to be seen.

4) Sonny's rivals closing in

As mentioned before, Sidwell believed that Sonny was trying to kill him inside the prison. Now that there has been an attack, Alexis will be curious as to who was behind it.

As she looks deeper, she may notice the ongoing rivalry between Sonny and Ava Jerome (Maura West). She may also realize how Ava is collaborating with Drew. Alexis may connect the dots to deduce that the two are planning a war on Sonny. Knowing that Sidwell from inside the prison and Drew on the outside may together put Sonny's life in danger. Since danger to Sonny may extend to her own daughter, Alexis will likely want to act on this.

5) Alexis's dagger frame-up and other chaos

As Alexis helps Sidwell keep safe, she may delve deeper into his assets. GH fans may remember that Sidwell had preserved Alexis's fingerprints on the dagger Helena used to kill her mother and put it away to possibly frame her in a future crime. If Alexis discovers the item and realizes the plan, she will be shocked. Whether she secures her position by destroying the item or drops Sidwell as a client remains to be seen.
