5 Things GH’s Willow May Have to Do Now That Nina’s at Steinmauer

Woe has befallen General Hospital's Nina Reeves as the WSB zeroed in on her in connection with the disappearance of Jack Brennan. Since Nina was dating Jack, but had a public argument with him where she threatened him, Carly Spencer pointed her fingers at Nina, making her a prime suspect.

At the same time, Drew Cain planted Jack's wallet in Nina's car, framing her as part of his his revenge plot. The evidence seemed to seal Nina's fate as the WSB arrested her and moved her to Steinmauer.

Before being taken away, Nina hired Ric Lansing as her lawyer. Later, Ric informed Willow Tait of her mother's predicament. While a shocked Willow wanted to help her mother, Ric asked for any information that might save Nina. Since Willow is keeping many secrets, she must be proactive if she wants to rescue her mother.

5 Measures Willow May Take to Rescue Nina

In a sudden move by the WSB, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was arrested in connection with the disappearance and possible murder WSB Station Chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). The organization produced the evidence of Jack's wallet in Nina's car. As Nina's lawyer, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), informed Congresswoman Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) of her mother's arrest, leaving Willow shocked.

Willow may use all the resources available to her as a congresswoman to help her mother's case. She may need to pull strings and employ pressure to break the WSB. Moreover, she may make a deal with the WSB to provide some valuable intel or favor in exchange for Nina's release.

2) Insist on decoding the black box

Willow already knows that Jack had dirt on former congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in his black box. Meanwhile, she made a pact with Drew to leave her alone. As such, Willow had asked Jack to get usable dirt on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). Since Willow may suspect Drew in framing her mother, she may direct the WSB towards Jack's black box.

Willow may hope that if the black box is decoded, Drew may be put up against a wall, and she can prove his role in framing Nina. Alternatively, if the black box reveals any dirt against Michael that she had asked Jack about, Willow still wins her war against her former husband. However, she may worry about any incriminating information against her in the box.

3) Reach out to Valentin for help

As GH fans may remember, Nina was once married to former WSB agent Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Willow may consider reaching out to Valentin for help. Since Valentin still worries about Nina, Willow will hope that he would step in to rescue Nina.

As such, he may use his internal knowledge about the organization and advise Willow on the best steps to take.

4) Form a truce with Sonny

Willow and Michael are fighting a bitter custody battle over their two children, each trying to outbid the other. In this scenario, Willow does not have great rapport with Michael's family. However, she may consider reconnecting with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to get help for Nina.

Since Nina continued to trust Sonny with her problems, Willow will likely consider the former mob boss a help in a time of need. In return, Sonny may promise to use all his resources to get Nina released from the clutches of the WSB. Taking a cue from Jason's arrest by the WSB, Sonny might rope in Jason's help to understand the situation better.

As a final resort, Willow might need to come forward. Since she suspects Drew for framing Nina, she may want to come forward with her accusations. However, she may need to explain why Drew was provoked to target Nina. As a clarification for the revenge angle, Willow may need to reveal her own crimes.

The congresswoman will need to elaborate on her shooting and drugging crimes, along with Nina pushing Drew into the pool. With this ultimate move, Willow will risk her political career and her own arrest. Along with Drew's reputation, her own image will also get destroyed. Whether Willow will be ready to make this supreme sacrifice for her mother remains to be seen.
