General Hospital's Lulu Spencer is in a tough spot right now her big expose about Lulu is coming under fire. As fans know, Lulu picked up the scent of a story on Willow Tait's crimes when she visited Jenz Sidwell in the hospital after the Pentonville attack. Since Sidwell was under medication post-surgery, Nurse Elizabeth Webber did not allow Lulu to visit the patient. Lulu, however, stole Felicia Scorpio's ID card and interviewed the groggy patient.
Lulu then followed it up by talking to Drew Cain, the victim, and then Dr. Lucas Jones and Nurse Elizabeth. After hearing more about Jack Brennan's supposed stroke, Lulu started putting the pieces together and published an explosive article. Now, Willow is suing Lulu over a true story...that Lulu didn't obtain using journalistic ethics.
5 Disadvantages That May Ruin Lulu's Position on GH
1) Lulu interviewed Sidwell in his post-operative drugged condition

As fans may remember, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was alert enough to recognize Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and take jibes at her. He also spoke to her at length about his rivals getting away with bigger crimes, such as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). When Lulu questioned him, he gave enough intel on providing a paralytic drug to Willow so that she could keep Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in a "locked-in" condition.
However, on paper Sidwell was out of a major surgery and still under the influence of sedatives and painkillers. He was in no condition to give an interview and may not be held liable for what he shared.
2) Lulu got into Sidwell's room illegally

As mentioned before, Sidwell was just out of his surgery and was expected to be groggy with all the sedatives and medication. As such, when Lulu asked Nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) for permission to talk to him, she refused. However, a resolute Lulu refused to go away without completing her mission.
As such, Lulu found the ID card of Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and used that to access the patient's room while Felicia searched for her lost card outside in the halls. Since Lulu visited the patient using a stolen identity, she may be charged with theft if she admits to her method of getting to her subject.
3) Lulu misled Drew, Lucas and Liz for their statements

While Lulu followed up on the information she got from Sidwell by talking to Willow's victim, Drew, she did not talk to him directly about her story about accusing Willow. Instead, she tricked him into believing that she would spin a story about Drew's brave recovery, forcing him to give consent.
Lulu did not clearly inform Liz or Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Elizabeth about her research. She managed to get them to voice their opinions about two similar strokes in Willow's living room. After collecting all this intel, Lulu published her story Willow. However, her process of acquiring information was dubious and based on deception.
4) Lulu didn't interview the accused party

As most journalists know, any story must have both sides. Since Lulu's piece was meant to present Willow's criminal actions, based on Sidwell's words, she should have gotten the other side of the story. While Lulu followed up her information with details from Lucas, Elizabeth and Drew, she failed to interview Willow.
Her story might have been considered based on all-round research if Willow's opinions and statements were also included. With this vital part missing, Lulu's article has become a one-sided defamation piece, driving Willow to sue her for libel.
5) The accused, the victim and the middleman are denying it

In a surprising turn of events, Lulu will likely find all the concerned parties connected to her article backing one another. As fans know, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has convinced Willow to file a lawsuit against Lulu for defamation. To keep himself safe, Sidwell has decided to call everything a lie, spoken by him under the influence of drugs.
On the other hand, Drew, Willow's victim as per Lulu's article, is also ready to refute all the claims of the article. However, he has two very selfish reasons. First, his acceptance will bring Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) to the fore with the questions around his disappearance. That would put Drew in trouble since he buried Jack's body.
The other reason is that taking Willow down would cheer up the Quartermaine family, and Drew does not want that. For Lulu though, a bigger problem will be the hospital staff backing out from their statements. Since Liz and Lucas trusted Lulu with their opinions, they are hurt that she used them to write her story. With everyone ready to deny the facts, Lulu will find herself cornered.
