5 ways General Hospital’s Josslyn could burn Cassius to the ground (and 5 reasons they may become Port Charles’ most dangerous duo)

Sleeper agent, Josslyn Jacks of General Hospital, played by Eden McCoy, found herself in danger recently after she was kidnapped and held hostage by Cassius Faison, played by Ryan Peavey. While Josslyn has been deactivated by WSB chief Jack Brennan for her safety, she has been going around asking questions about Faison. Moreover, she offered to collaborate with Britt Westbourne to take revenge for Jason’s predicament. However, Britt ratted her out to Cassius, forcing the latter to take Josslyn hostage with Pascal and Sidwell’s help. Also, Cassius revealed his true identity to Josslyn while holding her captive. However, he showed no intention of killing her.

5 steps Josslyn may take to ruin Cassius on General Hospital

1) Using physical and psychological strategies

While Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is as yet unaware of Josslyn’s WSB identity, she has Jack (Chris McKenna) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) on her side. With Carly searching for her, Joss may soon have a huge machine activated to look out for her. After the rescue, Josslyn can guide her protectors towards Cassius. She may help Brennan take down her kidnapper and expose Cassius’s allegiance with Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to the PCPD.

In the meantime, she will likely fight Cassius physically. She has already injured him by breaking two of his ribs. Trained as an agent and adept at combat, she can continue to hurt him.

Cassius revealed his true identity after Josslyn expressed surprise at clean cop, Nathan West’s questionable actions. While Josslyn assumed that after disclosing his identity, Cassius would kill her, he refrained from doing any more harm. As such, Josslyn is currently aware that “Detective Nathan” is his twin, Cassius Faison.

Once out of captivity, Josslyn may expose the truth to the world. So far, Cassius has kept the identity theft hidden. However, Josslyn may destroy him by exposing him to his department, his mother, and others involved with him.

So far, through her own sleuthing, Josslyn has collected very basic intel about the “Faison Project”. She knows that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is involved, and so are Cullum and Sidwell. Now she knows that Nathan, AKA Cassius, is also part of the sinister team. Soon she may deduce that the experiments are done in Spoon Island and Anna was tortured in the same room where she is held.

When she escapes, she will reveal everything she knows about the Faison Project. Even if she cannot link Anna’s connection or prove Cullum as an involved party, she can definitely have Cassius charged with abduction.

Through her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and her half-brother, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), Josslyn is connected to the Corinthos family. On the other side, Carly is also a Spencer, an influential clan in Port Charles. When cornered, Josslyn may use these connections to take down Cassius.

While Josslyn will do anything to protect her mother if Cassius tries to hurt Carly, the latter will set the Corinthos ball rolling to destroy anyone targeting Josslyn. At the same time, Agent Jacks will likely fight tooth and nail to save herself. Cassius may fall victim to the ensuing violence.

While pretending to be his twin, Cassius has genuinely fallen in love with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). He saved Lulu’s son, Rocco (Finn Carr), from becoming a target for Cullum after the teenager shot the WSB Director. Moreover, he wants to settle into a steady relationship with her.

Once released from her captivity, Josslyn may reveal “Nathan’s” real identity and purpose to Lulu before he can speak to her. This betrayal will turn Lulu against him permanently and destroy Cassius’s true romance.

Josslyn’s sleuthing has revealed that the sinister duo of Sidwell and Cullum poses a big danger to Port Charles. While she is indifferent about the danger Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) faces from Sidwell, she is concerned about her mother’s safety and will do anything to protect her. If Sidwell or Cullum poses a problem for her family, Joss will be ready to fight it out.

Since Cassius informed Josslyn that he and his sister, Britt, want out of the Faison Project, the above-mentioned duo is his enemy as well. As such, Cassius and Josslyn may join hands against Sidwell and Cullum to bring them down.

2) Leveraging Josslyn’s WSB ambitions

While Cassius was raised by his father as a secret aide, he is feeling a change of heart after arriving in Port Charles. As mentioned before, he and Britt want to leave the project and lead normal lives. On the other hand, Josslyn wants to solve the Faison project case herself.

In such a situation, Josslyn may benefit from having a Faison on her side who knows the project from the inside. At the same time, Cassius may need help from authorities to jump ship. Josslyn may use her connections around town to help Cassius.

To support each other, Josslyn and Cassius must chalk up a deal. That will likely involve the secret of Cassius’s false identity as Nathan, which Josslyn must agree to keep hidden. On the other hand, Cullum is unaware of Josslyn’s WSB connection. Since Cassius knows about it, he must keep it from the WSB Director.

Also, while Josslyn may decide against spilling all before Lulu, Cassius must keep Josslyn’s true identity from reaching her friends and other residents of Port Charles.

As mentioned before, Josslyn is fiercely protective of her family and friends, just as her mother is. Since the duo of Sidwell and Cullum may target Carly, Michael, and Lucas (Van Hansis) after already capturing Jason, Josslyn will want to protect them.

At the same time, Cassius knows about the dangers hovering over James, Rocco, Lulu, and Britt from the mobster and the WSB Director. General Hospital fans know that Cassius is truly fond of James and considers him a son. As such, he may want all the help he can get to keep himself safe. If Josslyn offers to join hands with them to help their families stay safe, Cassius may accept.

If Josslyn offers to keep Cassius’s Nathan West secret, it may save him a lot of trouble in having to explain himself to James and Lulu. As such, he may ask her to obtain any legal immunity she can for him through her inside connections with former WSB stalwarts and other authorities in town.

At the same time, Josslyn may use Cassius for her own agenda of taking down Sonny. Unlike her former boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), Cassius has no loyalty towards Sonny and will likely help her in return for his immunity. She will also gain a powerful operator outside the law.
