5 Ways General Hospital's Nina Could Be Saved From a WSB Black Site

Nina Reeves is in a crisis on General Hospital, as the WSB recently arrested her for Jack Brennan's disappearance and possible murder. Although Nina was preparing for this situation by appointing Ric Lansing as her lawyer, she had no idea WSB Agent Baines would make his move this fast. Now, Nina has been arrested and taken to a WSB facility, just like Jason was earlier this year.

5 Scenarios That May Help Nina's Case with The WSB

1) Ava faces a dilemma of conscience

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) have been close friends for years. They also share information related to their personal lives. Nina shared her romantic feelings for Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) with Ava, as well as their recent altercation. Ava knows that her friend is innocent of Jack's death. Ava drugged Jack and believes he died after drowning in the pool due to his condition. She and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) buried Jack's body in the nature reserve by the Q crypt. Ava already feels guilty after watching the WSB haul Nina away.

While not in the mob anymore, Sonny may still have some network and connections to get Nina home. That may include utilizing legal maneuvering and muscle power to stop the act in time. He may also ask his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), to employ PCPD power to interfere with the WSB work.

3) Valentin steps in to manipulate WSB

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) shares a long history with Nina, as they were once husband and wife and she was a good stepmother to Charlotte. Moreover, he knows Nina's character and may not believe her to be a murderer. This may be the time for Valentin to step up for his former spouse.

Being a former WSB himself, he knows all the loopholes in the organization. Moreover, as a rogue agent, he may have an international fugitives' network to manipulate the WSB. As such, he may use his connections and his vast fortune to help secure Nina's safety.

4) Forensic evidence points at Drew

Drew and Nina exchanged barbs before Drew quietly planted Jack's wallet in Nina's car. He then assured Ava that the WSB would not be looking at her, feeling smug about his framing job. This could be one of the vital pieces of evidence that the WSB would use against Nina.

However, if the wallet and Nina's car go through a forensic sweep, there may be evidence such as fingerprints or DNA footprints that point towards Drew. There is a likelihood of security footage finding Drew in the vicinity of Nina's car. With that, the WSB case against Nina may fall flat.

She may also be worried that if the authorities interrogated Nina much, the latter may break down and reveal all of Willow's crimes. Since that may jeopardize her chances of a re-election, Willow may consider it safer to use her influence and get Nina out before she spills all. Incidentally, Willow's possible involvement in Jack's death is as yet unknown.
