General Hospital's Jason Morgan has taken on an important role as he took a strong stand against Lucy Coe's machinations. While he is new to the corporate world quitting the mob, he is both meticulous and calm, traits needed to stay afloat under tough competition. However, the recent incident of Jason backing Tracy and Brook Lynn instead of being pulled into another sneaky plan by Lucy put Jason firmly in the Quartermaine camp.

5 Clues That GH's Jason Is Now a True Quartermaine

1) Raising Danny on Quartermaine grounds

Since Sam McCall's (Kelly Monaco) death, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been raising their son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) in the Quartermaine mansion. He also encouraged Danny to become responsible and take on household chores as punishment.

Besides the safety of the Quartermaine mansion, the strict rules of the Quartermaine family became a character foundation for Danny. Despite rejecting the family after his accident and brain damage, Jason chose to raise Danny in the confines of the same family.

2) Joining the family business

Upon quitting the mob and deciding to become a good parent for Danny, Jason turned to living a normal civilian life. After years of being a hitman for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Jason joined the Quartermaine businesses. As corporate personnel at ELQ, he is expected to report to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). And recently, when Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) left town briefly, Jason stepped in as his proxy in Deception's management.

So far, he's doused fires at ELQ and stood resolute for the Deception role. He managed to see through Lucy Coe's (Lynn Herring) sneaky plan and evaded getting tricked or pulled into a messy situation.

3) Reconnecting despite lost memories

As GH fans already know, Jason is brain-damaged and will never recover any memories from his life as Jason Q. However, his angst towards the Quartermaines is long gone. In the last few years, he had reunited with his mother, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson). He was also the one who checked up on Monica and found that she had passed.

He reunited emotionally with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) after Monica's death. He also announced his decision to quit the mob and lead a civilian life to her, expressing regret about his parents never knowing about his homecoming. Jason returned to his family when he needed a place to collect himself. Although he does not remember the past, his family loyalty won when he planned to rebuild his life.

4) Voting in favor of ELQ

As viewers recently saw, Jason stood resolute in his decision to not hand over Michael's proxy to Lucy. He also made it clear that he would not snitch on them unless asked. However, Tracy perceived an issue and asked him bluntly, and Jason answered truthfully. Still, he did not rush to explain himself to Lucy and her daughter.

Later when it was time to vote for Deception's takeover by ELQ, Jason sided with Tracy. He did not budge when Lucy and Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) pleaded with him to save them. He did not give in even when Lucy referred to Jason's father, trying to emotionally weaken him. This also showed that Jason, while emotionally soft, was strong enough to spot hypocrisy and withstand any external pressure on the Q family.

5) Employing sound financial facts

Jason did not side with Tracy for sentimental reasons. Unlike what Serena accused him of, Jason is a smart and cautious operator. Earlier he read the papers that Serena had brought for him to sign, avoiding signing off Michael's shares to Lucy.

This time, he showed financial prowess when he quoted data and explained Deception's dire conditions. He emphasized the financial picture. He refused to take the blame for favoritism and had hardcore facts at his disposal to back his decision. However, for GH fans, this also signals his Quartermaine connections as all Q members are shrewd business people.
