5 Ways GH's Tracy Could Sabotage Brook Lynn’s Next Chapter

General Hospital's Tracy Quartermaine has her hands in Brook Lynn's crumbling marriage as she takes the vindictive approach towards her wayward grandson-in-law. While Tracy's moves come from a place of love and concern, as a Quartermaine, she may take payback to the extent where someone she loves may get hurt. Tracy is not ready to understand that Brook Lynn loves her husband, Harrison Chase, and does not want to hurt him.

Brook Lynn has her father, Ned Quartermaine's perspective. He advised her not to keep Chase away from Phoebe and to keep peace and harmony. Brook Lynn needs to keep this in mind as she navigates a tricky situation and Tracy inevitably makes things worse.

5 Steps GH's Tracy May Take to Meddle in Brook Lynn's Future

GH viewers have recently witnessed Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) employing the services of Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) to spy on Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and his association with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). She has also instructed Yuri to take photographs of any closeness between Chase and Congresswoman Tait.

While Yuri clearly refused to spy on and report about any marital discord between Chase and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), he is likely to help Tracy collect evidence to use in support of Brook Lynn's separation from Chase. In the past, Tracy herself has spied on Chase and wanted to use questionable moments to throw Chase out of the house. Currently, Brook Lynn remains unaware about Tracy's evidence-collection plan.

Tracy has already tried to convince her granddaughter multiple times to leave Chase. While Brook Lynn is still trying to save her marriage, Tracy is actively pushing for a breakup to protect her granddaughter from more heartache. Fans may agree that Tracy noticed Chase's inclination toward siding with Willow and punishing BLQ long ago. She had challenged Chase about it many times.

In the current scenario, she assured BLQ of her support for whatever the latter decided. However, on the side, she is pushing for a separation and trying to influence Brook Lynn to walk away from her relationship while keeping Phoebe (Luna & Lucia Creighton) to herself. Tracy even asked lawyer Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to help BLQ get total custody of baby Phoebe, cutting Chase out.

As mentioned before, Tracy employed Yuri to help spy on Chase and pick evidence of the latter's straying. She has an ally in Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), who is hellbent on catching his former wife, Willow, pursuing Chase romantically, so that he can ruin her reputation and cut her out of their custody arrangement.

She may consider using other family members and contacts. While Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will likely not side with his mother's plan of pushing Brook Lynn to divorce Chase, the same cannot be said about others. Moreover, Tracy may ask Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to help her facilitate this breakup.

Tracy will likely manipulate Brook Lynn into letting Chase go by opening Brook Lynn's eyes to Willow's influence on Chase. As fans have seen for months, Brook Lynn has been fighting her insecurities about her husband's devotion towards Willow. However, trying to be a supportive wife, she was inclined to forgive Chase's stance every time. However, Chase walked out on her when she needed his support. Moreover, he turned a blind eye to Willow's crimes, trying to pin the blame for fake information on BLQ.

Tracy may take advantage of this scenario by not letting Brook Lynn forget how her husband treated her. She may also call the Willow card whenever BLQ considers forgiving Chase and shielding her marriage. Tracy may reach out to her stepdaughter, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), to help convince BLQ, since it was Lulu who exposed Willow's crimes. Tracy may use media and rumors to widen the rift between the couple until Chase makes a misstep and BLQ explodes.

Perhaps Tracy will bribe Brook Lynn with more responsibility and involvement in the family by offering her more positions in family businesses. That may include a job at ELQ, besides a position in Deception. She may offer a supportive family to raise Phoebe, so Brook Lynn need not worry about the other parent.
