After spending months in a WSB black site, General Hospital's Jason Morgan returned home on July 13, 2026. Fans already know that Josslyn negotiated a deal with WSB director, Z, to get all charges against Jason and Valentin dropped in return for her false statement incriminating Cassius Faison for all Cullum’s crimes. So, Jason was released and headed back home to the Q house. His son, Danny, was the first to spot him and the father-son had an emotional reunion.

However, during his flight, home Jason was seen having flashbacks of severe in-prison torture. He looked lost and shaken by his experience, a change far-removed from his previous stoic persona. While the soap’s storyline tracked Jason’s return journey, it hinted at Jason’s possible PTSD condition.

This may be a welcome break for him and his loved ones. For years Jason has been part of the mob world and put his life in danger. If he uses mental health reasons as a way to walk away from the mob carnage, he may start with the balanced life he considered before his imprisonment.

Later, Jason’s 2021 tunnel death ended in his working undercover for the FBI.
