Josslyn Jacks played a vital role on GH in eliminating immediate danger in Port Charles by shooting rogue WSB Director Ross Cullum dead. While she was decommissioned by her boss, Jack Brennan, into a sleeper agent, she went around investigating Cesar Faison after discovering a book by Faison with Anna Devane’s image on the cover. This rattled Faison’s children, and Cassius kidnapped her. While Cassius held Josslyn hostage in Spoon Island, he opened up about his true identity and gave her a comprehensive idea about the cold fusion project.
On Thursday, July 2, 2026, Cassius battled Cullum, where the latter shot Faison’s son. In return, Josslyn, who had joined Cassius, shot Cullum dead. Soon, fans saw Z land in a WSB helicopter to take charge of the chaos. Later, Z visited Josslyn in her hospital room, where they struck a deal.
5 Hints that GH’s Josslyn may become a WSB super-agent
1) Controlling information and narrative

As mentioned above, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) landed at the center of affairs by being held hostage at Wyndemere. As she joined Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) in battling Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), she shot the latter dead before the WSB Head, Z (John Oliver), arrived on the island.
However, during their chat in the hospital room, Josslyn offered to control the narrative in return for a deal with Z. She asked Z to drop charges against Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). In return, she proposed to frame the already “dead” Cassius for all crimes and absolve WSB from having a bad name. This willingness to distort the narrative for a larger benefit fits the WSB standards.
2) Aiming to exploit the WSB vacuum

Josslyn knows that former WSB, Valentin, is a fugitive while her boss, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), was sidelined through internal WSB politics. Currently, Director Cullum is dead, shot by Josslyn. As such, there may be a vacuum in the organization.
Since Josslyn has interacted with Z directly and may have earned his favor and respect, she may want to exploit this advantageous position to push her ambition. Although unsure about Z's real intentions, she may consider leveraging the situation to move up from being a rookie agent to a high-level operative.
3) Neutralizing both Faison’s tech and Valentin

As GH fans know, during her hostage time, Josslyn acquired the complete picture of Cullum’s plan. From Cassius’s hidden identity to Britt’s replacement with Obrecht’s work on the cold fusion project, Josslyn knows about the advanced technology being prepared. She also realizes the danger it may pose to the town. Since Brennan was keeping tabs on the project through her, she knows that WSB intends to acquire it. As such, she can ensure the tech’s ethical handling and keep Port Charles safe.
On the other hand, she dislikes her mother’s involvement with Valentin. By demanding Valentin’s exemption from all charges, Josslyn will be doing a favor for the former agent. With that, she may call the shots on how she wants Valentin to behave. She may ask the latter to break up with her mother to return the favor.
4) Bridging mob and bureau to broker peace

As longtime viewers know, Josslyn dislikes Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and fails to understand her mother’s friendship with him. As such, she joined WSB to take down Sonny and his mob. However, she shares a great rapport with Jason, who is Sonny’s right-hand man. The past few months have made it clear to Josslyn that Sonny is not the biggest danger for Port Charles. As such, she may tone down the intensity of hatred towards Sonny.
On the other hand, as mentioned before, Josslyn made a deal with Z to have both Jason and Valentin released. With that, she is bestowing equal importance on both the men who are important to her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Also, Valentin represents WSB while Jason epitomizes the mob world. With this move, Josslyn will extend favor to both worlds and bridge the gap. As such, she may be in a position to broker peace.
5) Establishing an independent identity and network

After her recent action of taking down the rogue agent Cullum, Josslyn has earned respect from Z. However, instead of being carried away by high praise, she has shown poise when she negotiated a deal with the spymaster. She has established a strong identity as an independent operative instead of being a pawn.
In the coming days, Josslyn may use all her network, immunity, high-level backup and her field experience to her advantage. She may step into the powerful role of dictating terms on both sides of the law.
5 twists that may undermine Josslyn’s position on GH
1) Carly’s interference

As GH fans have witnessed, Carly Spencer dislikes Josslyn’s involvement with the WSB. To justify her opinion, she has Joss’s recent experiences as argument. Since Carly needed to come to Wyndemere to rescue a captive Josslyn, which was followed by Cullum attacking Josslyn and Cassius, Carly wants the agent out of the organization.
As such, Carly tabled her demands before Z. However, the WSB Head politely rebuffed the mother’s petitions. He may try to ignore her, but Carly show rage and react with violence. Ether way, she may relentlessly continue to take Josslyn away from WSB thus creating much problems in her career.
2) Obrecht’s vengeance

Viewers witnessed Josslyn offering to change the narrative of events on Friday, July 3, 2026. In return for the freedom of Valentin and Jason, she proposed to present Cassius as the fall guy. Since Z was worried about the bad reputation of the organization if Cullum’s nefarious activities are revealed, being a WSB agent Josslyn decided to present Cullum as the victim and Cassius as the culprit.
However, this narrative will likely enrage Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Since Obrecht and Josslyn were locked together and she knows the true course of events, she will be upset when her son’s image is tainted, more so since, Cassius returned to save them all instead of fleeing to Canada. Moreover, he died in the combat, making him a hero. As such, Obrecht may retaliate to disrupt Josslyn’s smooth career.
3) Valentin’s independent moves

While by brokering for Valentin’s freedom, Josslyn may believe she is doing him a favor, she may not be able to have any power over him. On one hand, her dislike for Valentin may make their equation awkward, while on the other, Joss is making a compromise for her mother’s sake.
Unfortunately, Josslyn may find that Valentin has his own opinions and strategies, that may not agree with her. He will make his own decisions and may not go with her ideas. Moreover, the former WSB has a tendency to make massive personal sacrifices and jumping in to face danger. As such, Valentin’s moves may overshadow Josslyn’s role in any crisis.
4) Complicated romances

Josslyn has a history of having tempestuous romances in the past. Her career stems from the death of her former boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), whose murder pushed Josslyn to kill the murderer, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). While Brennan manipulated her into joining WSB, Josslyn did justice to her work.
However, she defied the WSB rules about dating a colleague and romanced her handler Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) till Brennan had Vaughn taken away. However, Vaughn is back in town and helping Z with the investigations. With her romantic interest back in town, Josslyn may be distracted from her ambition.
5) Anna and Jason’s returns

Josslyn is enjoying the attention for taking down the rogue WSB Director. At the moment, she is making a deal to get Valentin and Jason released while tweaking the reputation of WSB. With Z interested in keeping her in the organization, Josslyn may feel important.
However, when Jason is freed, he will be back in town. The hitman may embark on new heroic actions, true to his nature. Moreover, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is moving papers to get Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) released from the psychiatric facility. As such, when the former WSB and former Commissioner is back in town, the GH storyline may put the spotlight on her, thus sidelining Josslyn’s importance.
