6 General Hospital Characters Who Will Give Britt Sympathy After the Near-Shooting

General Hospital's Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) is understandably shaken up after Anna (Finola Hughes) nearly shot her. On Thursday's episode, Britt was angry that no one showed her sympathy, due to the fact that Anna hasn't been in her right mind for months. But here are six GH characters who actually will lend Britt a sympathetic ear.

Liesl Obrecht

If Britt wants sympathy, all she has to do is call her mother, Liesl (Kathleen Gati). Liesl is Britt's number one supporter. We all remember how much Liesl grieved for Britt when she thought Britt had been killed by Heather Webber (Alley Mills) a few years ago. That crime was part of the Hook Killer storyline, wherein Heather killed multiple PC residents with a fisherman's hook that she'd dipped in reptile venom.

Liesl will be relieved that Anna didn't harm Britt, and she will also be grateful to Jason for showing up in the nick of time and talking Anna out of killing Britt. While Liesl will understand that Anna has been under a great deal of anxiety and stress after being held prisoner by Pascal (Marc Forget), she will surely be a support system for her daughter.

Nina Reeves

Nina (Cynthia Watros) is Britt's cousin. She isn't a close friend of Anna's, so that means she is another person Britt can turn to for consolation. Even though we haven't seen Britt and Nina in any scenes together lately, we know that Nina has a close bond with Liesl, since Liesl is her aunt.

Britt feels like everyone is ganging up on her and showing more sympathy to Anna because Anna's mental clarity was compromised. But Britt needs to remember that she does have a few relatives in PC she can talk to.

Nina's world is about to turn upside down, since Drew (Cameron Mathison) is trying to frame her for Jack's (Chris McKenna) disappearance and death. But until that storyline comes to a head, she can be a source of emotional support for Britt.

Willow Tait

Now that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Britt have had drinks together and commiserated with each other about their messy personal lives, GH fans are calling them new best friends. This makes sense, considering that they are cousins and they've both done their share of crazy things. Willow shot Drew and injected him with a drug that immobilized him for months. Britt stole Rocco's (Finn Carr) embryo in the hope that she could trick Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) into thinking she was pregnant by him so he would marry her. Willow and Britt can relate to each other, except that everyone in PC has yet to learn about Willow's crimes.

Willow doesn't have a close alliance with Anna. Now that she and Britt have become friendly, she will probably give Britt some empathy after the near-shooting.

Rocco Falconeri

Britt has a close bond with Rocco, since she gave birth to him and took care of him for the first few months of his life. After everyone in PC found out Britt was still alive, she reconnected with Rocco.

She may have some reservations about confiding in him about the near-shooting, since it may trigger the memory of the night he shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). But Rocco has overcome a lot this past year and has shown an increasing amount of emotional growth. He would want to be there for Britt if she needs someone to talk to. What she seems to need right now is a good listener and a shoulder to lean on, and Rocco can provide both of those things for her.

Portia Robinson

Britt may not think she has many friends right now (or any) whom she can confide in about the frightening experience she endured. But she actually has more allies than she realizes. Portia (Brook Kerr) is one of them.

In December 2025, Portia suffered from cramps while she was pregnant with baby Desmond. She was worried that she might lose her baby, so she wanted to be examined as soon as possible to make sure the baby was all right. All of the other OBGYNs in the hospital were busy with other patients at the time, and Britt's medical license had not yet been reinstated. But since no one else was available, Portia asked Britt to examine her.

Portia told her she'd been under a lot of stress. Britt calmed her down, assuring her that everything was going to be all right. After the examination, Britt told Portia that she simply needed to get some rest, stay hydrated, and take better care of herself. The baby was going to be fine.

Portia will surely remember that stressful time in her pregnancy and the excellent care that Britt gave her. She would most likely lend Britt a sympathetic ear now if Britt needed someone to talk to about the near-shooting incident involving Anna.

Josslyn Jacks

Joss (Eden McCoy) was the first person Britt turned to for help after Anna nearly shot her. Even though Joss had a hard time believing that Anna almost shot Britt, she saw how rattled Britt was, so she offered Britt a place to sleep that night.

Now that Joss has spoken to Jason (Steve Burton) and he confirmed that Anna did intend to kill Britt, Joss may feel like she owes Britt an apology for doubting her. Perhaps we will see an upcoming scene where Joss reaches out to Britt and offers her a sincere apology and emotional support.

Joss remembers that Britt saved her life when Heather tried to kill her. Joss may want to repay Britt in some way, even if all she does is lend a sympathetic ear. As a WSB agent, Joss has been through some dangerous situations of her own, so she understands the post-traumatic stress that a near-shooting incident can cause a person.
