6 Ways Charlotte's Life May Change on General Hospital

Changes are in the air for General Hospital’s Charlotte Cassadine as her mother, Lulu Spencer, agreed to let her live with her father, Valentin Cassadine. Although Valentin has rented a house for now, he plans to move back to Wyndemere where Charlotte will just like when she was a child.

The coming days will likely bring new experiences for Charlotte. However, not all of them may be pleasant. With Valentin venturing into new business, all drama surrounding him will likely impact Charlotte. At the same time, her own rebellious streak may change some of her relationships.

6 Possible Outcomes of Charlotte’s Move with Valentin

Recently, General Hospital viewers saw Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) make a deal with his former colleague, WSB agent, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), and get his frozen money released in exchange for handing over the black box. Later, he met Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to get advice on buying some of the legal businesses of mobster Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

However, both Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are interested in the same assets. As these two try to outwit each other, they are unaware of Valentin’s interest in the same properties and resources. This ruthless corporate war may pull in their individual families. As such, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) may find herself becoming an unintended target of drama involving her father’s financial plans.

Since Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) return to town and the disclosure of the shooting that led to Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) arrest, there's been friction between Charlotte and her brother. She remained loyal to Jason’s son, and her close friend, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). She also blamed her mother for helping hide Rocco’s crime as he kept this huge secret from Danny and her.

With Charlotte moving out of her mother’s home and eventually residing on Spoon Island, she is less likely to run into her brother. This may deepen the rift between the two and cause long-term damage in the siblings’ relationship.

As longtime GH fans may remember, Charlotte had behavioral problems in the past. As a child, she was a bully and in her early teens, she stalked Anna. While these may have been passing phase, they could also connect to her Cassadine blood. Moving back to the family home may bring back her inherent tendencies.

While at Wyndemere, she may explore the catacombs and the hidden rooms to discover more information on her family. She might even become more curious about her evil grandmother, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).

Over the past few months, Charlotte has been furious with her former stepmother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). It started when a fugitive Valentin escaped prison and hid in Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attic. Carly secretly reunited Charlotte and Valentin. However, Charlotte overheard Jack asking Nina to manipulate the teenager and get intel on Valentin’s whereabouts.

Believing that Nina cared more about Willow than her, she grew resentful of Nina. Charlotte may plan to take revenge. Now that Valentin is free and they are moving back to their family home, Charlotte may find resources to put her plan to action.

The past few months have seen a tussle between Charlotte and her mother, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). While Lulu tried to protect Charlotte from Valentin’s influence, the teenager found her mother’s stance stifling. As such, the two kept clashing. With the charges against Valentin dropped, Charlotte had a valid argument to stay with her father. Despite hurting, Lulu eventually relented and gave her daughter permission to move to her father’s place.

In the coming weeks, we may find Charlotte thawing towards her mother. As she has told before, she loves her mother but the latter does not understand her. However, now the separation may bridge the gaps with warmth. Charlotte may actively help her parents come to an agreement for peaceful co-parenting.

However, Charlotte is yet to understand the problems in this blended family. Since Carly’s daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) does not approve of Valentin, Charlotte may find Joss’s presence and actions disturbing.
