6 Ways Valentin and Jordan's New Partnership May Go on General Hospital

A new alliance is building up on General Hospital as Valentin Cassadine approached Jordan Ashford with a business proposal after informing her that he had saved her life the night of the car accident.

With Sidwell sentenced to 31 years behind bars, Valentin would like all the information he can get on Jenz Sidwell's legitimate businesses and he's willing to pay Jordan a hefty sum to fill him in. It's an unsual alliance that could have surprising consequences.

6 Possible Outcomes of a Jordan and Valentin Alliance

1) Dismantling Sidwell’s huge empire

Before arriving in Port Charles, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was an international crime lord. However, he used some of his businesses as a front for his illegal dealings. As his aide, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has information about most of his legal businesses.

Since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) wants to purchase Sidwell’s legal businesses, as well as Wyndemere, he needs Jordan’s advice on the right companies to buy. With Jordan’s help, Sidwell’s vast empire may be dismantled, but he is going to have stiff competition to purchase the assets.

2) Unwarranted attention from Carly, Jack, and Sonny

When Valentin made a deal with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) to have his frozen assets released in exchange for the WSB black box, Valentin was ready to enjoy financial feedom again. As the power shifts in Port Charles, his romantic partner, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will take notice, as would Jack.

On the other hand, before declaring his retirement from the mob world, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had announced his plan to take back his piers and his assets that Sidwell had acquired. Some of these assets may end up in a tug-of-war between Valentin and Sonny as the two interested buyers. Moreover, with Valentin investing vastly in businesses, he and Sonny could become the next power play opponents in town.

3) Creating mistrust between Jordan and Curtis

General Hospital fans may have noticed that Valentin asked Jordan for a return for his favor. He then surprised her with the information about saving her life at the accident site. While Valentin emphasized his fugitive condition at the time as the reason for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) keeping quiet about this help, Jordan may start to think about this while Curtis spends the next few months (we're sure it will just be months) in Pentonville. Maybe she will realize that Curtis' insistence for honesty should go both ways.

Valentin plans to buy back the Cassadine family home, Wyndemere, which Sidwell had bought after Valentin skipped town. However, Ava Jerome (Maura West) may lay claims to the property citing her previous association with the Cassadines. Although long-divorced, her alimony was frozen leaving her destitute. As such, she may not let Valentin stay comfortably in the castle in which she believes she has claims.

Elsewhere, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has kept her distance from the Cassadine family, despite biologically belonging to the same. However, she was made the custodian of the assets kept aside for Ace Cassadine (last played by Karis and Kieran Barry), who is staying abroad with his step-grandfather, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). However, Alexis had paid out huge sums of money when extorted by Ava. While the money was returned, Valentin may find out Alexis’s misappropriation.

5) Anna, Laura and Chase factors

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is the grandmother of Valentin’s daughter, Charlotte (Bluesy Burke), meaning Laura might worry about Charlotte’s safety as the teen moves in with her father. On the other hand, Mayor Laura depends on Jordan’s help in keeping the power play in Port Charles under control. If Jordan’s association with Valentin is exposed, it may have a fallout leaving Laura to firefight.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) might also have torn loyalties between Valentin and Jordan, as well as the law. If there is any underhand dealing, she may need to investigate them while wanting to protect them. At the same time, Det. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may get involved in Jordan’s accident case, knowing that a fugitive helped her. If he investigates the accident again, he may get a rude shock about his wife’s presence on the road.

6) Putting question mark on the “other driver”

As mentioned before, Valentin enlightened Jordan about his presence at the accident site and helping Curtis pull her to safety. If Jordan pursues this intel, Valentin may be questioned about the reason for his presence on the road at the time. More investigations into the Rout 91 accident may reveal that more vehicles and drivers were on the road, other than Isaiah.

Whether this exposes Charlotte and Danny’s (Asher Antonyzyn) presence on the road at the time remains to be seen.
