7 General Hospital Characters Who Are Driving Us Crazy

While we all have our favorite General Hospital characters, some of them are making us scratch our heads in confusion and roll our eyes in annoyance. Here are seven GH characters who are driving us insane.

Curtis Ashford

GH fans are losing their patience with the never-ending storyline about Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan's (Tanisha Harper) car accident. When Jordan visited Curtis in prison and told him the shocking news that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was the other driver, he angrily banged his hands on the table because Brook Lynn kept it a secret. Even the guard was concerned and quickly asked whether everything was all right.

Curtis refuses to accept the fact that he was wrong to punch Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), and that punch was what landed him in prison. Fans are calling him "hot-headed Curtis" because he just can't seem to keep his temper in check. If he lets that bad temper get the best of him, then he's going to have a difficult time getting along with the other inmates, and then, his chances of being paroled in two years will be slim to none.

Jordan Ashford

Jordan was the driver who actually caused the accident because she and Curtis were kissing. Sorry, but that's a big no-no when you're operating a motor vehicle. Maybe she should remember that if she and Curtis hadn't done that, then Brook Lynn would have never had to swerve her car out of the way and hit a guard rail. Brook Lynn is lucky she came out of that harrowing experience with her life intact. If she had been severely injured or killed, then Jordan would be behind bars right now, too. So maybe Jordan shouldn't be so annoyed at Brook Lynn for keeping quiet about being the other driver.

The other thing that's frustrating about Jordan is that she allowed Drew (Cameron Mathison) to talk her into rehiring him at Aurora Media. She justified her decision to Michael (Rory Gibson) by reciting that old saying about "keeping your enemies closer" than your friends. But this is Drew we're talking about. Jordan shouldn't have even let him set foot in the door, let alone rehire him. She should realize by now that when it comes to Drew, the best course of action is simply to stay as far away from him as possible.

Harrison Chase

When Chase (Josh Swickard) yelled at Brook Lynn and lunged at her, that was too much to bear. She doesn't deserve that treatment. She has always been a loving, devoted wife to him. It's a shame that Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Ned (Wally Kurth) didn't see him do that. Tracy would have thrown Chase out of the house so fast that his head would have spun. After all, it's her house now. Monica (Leslie Charleson) gave it to her.

It was also infuriating when Chase told Ned that what happened between him and Brook Lynn was private and he didn't want to discuss it. If it's private, then why did he rush over to the gatehouse and rat out Brook Lynn to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)? Chase is a first-class hypocrite. Has he forgotten that when he was married to Willow, she cheated on him with Michael (then played by Chad Duell)? When she was married to Michael, she cheated on him with Drew. There's a pattern here, Chase!

One more thing. Even though Tracy is wrong to ask Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to draw up divorce papers to dissolve Brook Lynn's marriage, some of us are still laughing over the way Tracy described Chase's relationship with Willow. She said, "Chase is playing footsie with Willow Tait."

Trina Robinson

Trina (Tabyana Ali) is one of the biggest hypocrites on this list. When she verbally tore Brook Lynn to shreds, some of us wanted to throw something at our TV screens. It seems like everyone wants to tar and feather Brook Lynn for keeping quiet. But there's one big thing that Trina should have recalled last week when she was ranting and raving. She's been keeping a secret of her own for months as well, and her secret is a massive one.

Trina knows that Willow shot Drew twice in the back, and her silence has had major consequences. Because she and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) have been sitting on this explosive secret, Willow was acquitted of shooting Drew, she's been co-parenting Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia, and she's been serving as a congresswoman. Doesn't Trina care that Willow is mentally unbalanced and should not be raising children and serving as a politician?

By the way, for all of the times that Trina acts as a cheerleader for her father, Curtis, has she totally forgotten about the man who raised her? That man is Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews). Even though she found out a few years ago that Curtis is her biological father, it would be nice to hear her mention every once in a while that she still stays in touch with Taggert. A longtime connection like that one shouldn't just disappear. Unfortunately, it seems that it has.

Michael Corinthos

While many of us love Michael, his decision to allow Willow to move into the gatehouse leaves some of us scratching our heads. Now that he finally knows she shot Drew, why is he allowing her to be around Wiley and Amelia?

When he and Willow got divorced and were engaged in a custody battle, he refused to give Willow partial custody of the kids as long as Drew was living with them. That was a wise decision. So now that Michael knows Willow is an attempted murderer, why is he allowing her to live with the kids? And why is he allowing her to roam the streets a free woman who is serving the public? Shouldn't he turn her in to the police and be done with it?

Even though she can't be tried again for the shooting due to double jeopardy, shouldn't Michael at least try to get Willow locked away in an institution for the criminally insane? And what about the stressful situation this puts his cousin, Brook Lynn, in? Michael knows that having Willow on the Quartermaine property will put more strain on Brook Lynn's marriage to Chase.

It feels like Michael is going against his better judgment by allowing Willow to get away with the shooting. His statement that he can keep an eye on her if she's living in the gatehouse doesn't make much sense. He can't keep track of her every move for every hour of every day, unless he has her followed. Besides, what if Willow decides to shoot him one night in his sleep, thinking that if he dies, she will get full custody of the kids? If we were Michael, we would sleep with one eye open!

Scout Cain

While it's sweet that young Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) is on the verge of a blossoming teen romance with Rocco (Finn Carr), why in the world is she throwing her own brother, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), under the bus just to protect Rocco from Drew? She knows that Danny has been knocking himself out to be polite to Drew in the hope that Drew will allow the siblings to spend time together. She also knows that nothing Danny does ever pleases her nasty father, so why is she making things even worse for her brother?

The GH writers have only recently SORASed Scout to be a teenager and they are already making her look bad because of that lie. Some fans are commenting that she's taking after her father instead of her late mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), which is not a good thing. No one else in PC should have to be like Drew Cain (at least the version of him that we've been seeing for the past two years).

Ava Jerome

While Ava (Maura West) has many fans, some of us are wondering why she would even think of aligning herself with Drew just in the hope of making some headway in her co-parenting dispute with Sonny (Maurice Benard). Ava has known for a very long time now that half the residents of PC have been victims of Drew's blackmailings, manipulations, framings, and all of the other sordid things he has done. What makes her think this alliance with him is going to end well for her? Drew is like a man-eating shark. He's always out to destroy someone, and he always manages to get the upper hand over his intended victims.

Ava is friends with Portia, who was blackmailed by Drew after she changed Heather Webber's (Alley Mills) drug test results. Portia and Nina (Cynthia Watros) have both warned Ava not to trust Drew. Why didn't she listen to them?

On a side note, since the GH writers have SORASed Scout, then isn't it about time they also SORAS Ava and Sonny's daughter, Avery? Since Avery was born in 2014, that would put her in the same age range as Scout. If Scout was aged to be a teenager, then shouldn't Avery be aged up to be one as well?
