General Hospital Daily Rehash, May 1: Did Britt Westbourne say too much...or too little?

Britt Westbourne spent the Friday, May 1, 2026, episode of General Hospital revealing secrets. Some argue that she didn't have the right to do that, but should she have told a whole other secret later in the hour?

Britt spills all about Josslyn

Imagine Cassius' (Ryan Paevey) surprise when he learned that ditzy sorority girl who has been thoroughly annoying him at the gym was really an undercover WSB agent. He could barely believe what Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) was saying, but his sister went into so many details that Cassius couldn't deny it. The ditzy college girl act actually worked and he never would have guessed this young girl was really a junior super spy. (We still can't believe it ourselves. Neither can Carly. And Jason. And Valentin. The list goes on...)

However, Britt might have put Josslyn (Eden McCoy) in harm's way by blowing her cover. She was just worried that Cassius' cover would be blown and they would never get out from under Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum's (Andrew Hawkes) thumbs. Cassius went to visit Josslyn and knew exactly what she was up to as she once again asked way too many questions for a college co-ed.

A visit from Sonny on General Hospital

Britt kept things a little closer to the vest when Sonny (Maurice Benard) paid her a surprise visit. He actually had news about where Jason (Steve Burton) was, thanks to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). However, Sonny had some pointed questions about what really happened on Pier 55. He knew that there was no way Jason had shot Cullum because the whole thing was way too messy and Jason doesn't operate that way.

Britt managed to confirm that Jason could have gotten away, but he was taking the fall for someone. She just didn't say who and Sonny left it at that. But should Britt have told Sonny about Rocco (Finn Carr)?

It's not like Sonny is law enforcement. In fact, he is quite the opposite. And he is also Rocco's grandfather, so we know he would do everything to protect him. With Sonny in the know, one could argue that he would be even safer. Sonny might even up his quest to bring down Sidwell and Cullum if he knows that he can help Rocco and Jason at the same time.

So, should Britt have told Sonny the truth? That is debatable. But it would certainly add another element to this story.
