Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital

Ric Lansing seems to have undergone quite a change after being locked up in Alexis' basement, chained to a gurney with a ball gag in his mouth for a month, but is it genuine? People like Laura, Dante, and Alexis seem skeptical, but Elizabeth and Sonny seem to think this change is the real deal, so who is right? We think that Elizabeth and Sonny are right for a variety of reasons, but the number one reason is Liz. She is all Ric has ever wanted and all he has wanted since returning to Port Charles almost two years ago. And he finally has her. He was even ready to tell her all about his summer in Alexis' basement, but she didn't even want to hear it. She just wanted to start fresh. (Something tells us she won't be too happy to eventually learn he was blackmailing Alexis and getting rich off an accident that nearly cost both of them their lives.) While some people suspect he might be working with Sidwell and that is why he is so concerned about being close to Sonny, we highly doubt it. That would be way too risky and would completely ruin everything he worked for to get Elizabeth back in his life on a romantic level. It would also destroy his renewed relationship with Molly, which Ric would never risk. So, yep, we think Ric's change of attitude is indeed legit and we love it. Sonny and Ric should have been a team years ago and now, they finally are.
