Welcome to General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on General Hospital

We've heard of gender reveal parties -- where expectant parents pop balloons and if blue confetti flies out, it's going to be a boy; pink, a girl. There are other ways to do it, but they're fun because they involve the family and help loved ones know what to shop for once they know what the sex of the baby will be. Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) isn't throwing a party, but she is letting some family members know that she's having a paternity test. The good doctor reached out to her estranged husband, Curtis (Donnell Turner), and let him know that she's going to have a paternity test, which will reveal whether he or Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is the dad. She also let Isiah and her daughter, Trina (Tabyana Ali), know that the test was being done. Then, all four gathered in a public waiting area for Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to deliver the results. We're okay with GH making us wait till tomorrow for the big news, but why hasn't Portia played this closer to the vest? Is she truly going to announce to the two contenders who the dad is out in the open at General Hospital, where anyone can walk by and witness the reveal? Paternity stories usually involved a switched set of results, at least once. Did Portia open the door for someone to change the outcome by letting too many people know this was happening? It's possible. We're not only waiting to find out who the baby's dad is, but who the true dad might be, too!
