General Hospital Fans React to Chase's Blind Loyalty to Willow

Thursday's episode of General Hospital featured the reactions of the Port Charles residents after reading Lulu's (Alexa Havins) inflammatory article stating that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) had drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison) and kept him in a locked-in state for months. Unfortunately, it was not the wake-up call for Chase (Josh Swickard) that we were hoping it would be. GH fans are reacting to his blind determination to side with Willow.

GH fans are extremely disappointed in Chase's foolish support of Willow and the fact that he accused Tracy (Jane Elliot), Michael (Rory Gibson), and even his own wife, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), of framing Willow. Will this guy ever learn? Here's what Twitter fans are saying.

"Every time I see Chase, I ask myself, why do I continue to watch this show?" one fan commented. "I can't stand him."

"This show continues to give too much time to the worst people," another fan remarked. "We need a serial killer storyline to purge us of this nonsense. You could get rid of about half the characters right now."

"Just when I didn't think they could make the Chase character any more of a tool, they do," still another fan lamented.

"As a cop, he really shows he's not that bright," another fan said.

"How is this fool even a detective?" one fan wondered.

"I guess he's her ride or die," another fan stated. "He will always stand by her."

"I didn't think I could ever loathe a character as much as Drew and Willow," one fan commented. "Chase just has been added to the list."

"Can you even believe this loser?" another fan chimed.

One fan did not seem surprised at Chase's reaction and said, "I think everyone saw this coming."

"Chase the clown," another fan said. "He's going to be stuck on stupid and will definitely lose custody."

He couldn't wait to rush to the gatehouse to see Willow

We shook our heads in disgust when Chase ran right over to the gatehouse after he gave Brook Lynn, Michael, and Tracy a good tongue-lashing. Could Michael please show him the signed affidavits from Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), confirming that they were at Drew's house the night Willow shot him? Or would Chase even believe those signed documents? Here's what more Twitter fans are saying about his behavior.

"Why are they writing him this way?" one fan wondered.

"Wow, Chase, you will regret losing your family over Willow," another fan noted.

"I despise this 'man,'" still another fan said.

"I always liked him, but I can't stand the way they are writing him now," another dejected fan wrote.

"His fall from grace is gonna be amazing," one fan predicted.

"What a character destruction they've done to Drew and Chase," another fan remarked.

One fan had a rather creative response, asking, "Are they gonna do another character re-invention and turn him and Willow into Bonnie and Clyde? Because what's gonna happen when he finds out everything she did is true?"

Does Brook Lynn have better chemistry with Hudson?

Last week on GH, we were treated to a sneak peek of what family life would look like for Brook Lynn and Hudson when he was playing peek-a-boo with baby Phoebe. Some Twitter fans evidently would like to see Brook Lynn move on from Chase and give Hudson a chance.

"Can they kill off Chase at this point?" one fan asked. "Please, more of Hudson and Brook Lynn."

"He deserves to lose everything," another fan said. "I really hope that when he sees the light and tries to get Brook Lynn back, I hope she sends him packing. She should be with Hudson."

"This fool deserves everything he gets," another fan agreed.

"I hate his guts!" one fan exclaimed.

"I can't wait until he finds out the truth," another fan said.

One fan brought up the fact that Chase went through a similar situation with another dangerous woman, and yet, he still hasn't learned his lesson.

"Can someone throw how he did the same with Nelle [Chloe Lanier] in his face?" the fan remarked. "How dumb he's not seeing he's repeating a pattern and defending someone insane."

"His downfall better be epic," another fan declared.

"What a delusional, lovesick moron," still another fan commented.

It truly is disappointing that Chase doesn't have the good sense to care that he has a wife who loves him and a beautiful baby girl. Instead, he's throwing it all away, but he never gives up on Willow. Will he ever find out that she shot Drew? We hope he does because it sure has been a long time coming.
