On Thursday's episode of General Hospital, Emma (Braedyn Bruner) was looking up as much information as she could about Heather Webber (Alley Mills), now that Heather's back in Port Charles. GH fans commented on Emma playing detective and looking out for the welfare of her friend, Trina (Tabyana Ali).

We thought we'd seen the last of Heather when her son, Steven (Scott Reeves), left PC with her in 2024 and they moved to Arizona. But on Halloween, she walked in on the tail end of Trina's performance with Gio (Giovanni Mazza) at the Cat's Eye Lounge. Since Heather's murder spree as The Hook killer in 2022, everyone is alarmed to see her again. Emma did a deep dive into her past. Here's what Twitter fans had to say.

"Finally, Emma [is] doing something positive instead of clapping her hands in the background," one fan said. "Emma doesn't belong in the background."

"Emma was great," another fan said. "I like Emma as [a] detective. Nice to see Emma and Gio spending time together."

"Hoping [we're] near the end of this story and Emma can move on from prop duty to her own storyline, with or without Gio," one fan remarked. "As long as it's about her/them please."

"Thankful to see Emma doing more than the supporting girlfriend," another fan stated. "Emma deserves more than that role. Emma deserves her own storyline. Braedyn has been a fabulous recast Emma."

"Give Emma her own story!" yet another fan exclaimed.

"Emma doing more than being a cheerleader is better, but Emma needs her own story about Emma," another fan agreed.

Emma admires her grandparents, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who were both WSB agents many years ago. Twitter fans love that Emma has inherited their investigative prowess.

"Enjoyed seeing Emma take charge and actually doing something worthwhile," one fan commented. "Emma is more than a girlfriend. Emma is part of a legacy family and should be respected."

"THIS is what Emma should be doing," another fan posted. "Investigating. Emma can be a research doctor with investigation on the side, just like her mother, Robin."

"I love Emma in investigation mode, and it makes sense," yet another fan said. "It runs in her veins. Grandparents Robert and Anna. Robin did it as well. Don't forget Uncle Mac and Aunt Felicia."

"I love the way Emma's investigative mind works!" another fan wrote. "No doubt about it. She's very much like Anna and Robert with her deep researching capacity! Gio is impressed and was stunned when Emma learned Heather married Edward Quartermaine for a minute!"

Heather targeted Trina out of love for her daughter, Esme

Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) visited Heather in prison shortly before she and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) allegedly died in the Seine River. Their bodies were never found. Heather's motive for targeting Trina back then was because Trina was involved with Spencer, who was Esme's ex-boyfriend. Some Twitter fans mentioned that Emma wasn't even on the GH canvas at the time this all happened.

One fan said, "You know what bothers me about this Trina stalker storyline? Emma, Gio, and Kai mentioning Heather and Esme as if they were around for any of it. They weren't. Joss, Cam, and Spencer were."

One fan replied to the post, saying, "Yeah, I caught that, too. Gio was in Bensonhurst, and Emma in California when all of this went down with Esme."

Another fan replied to the original post, "I can understand Emma knowing, because she's from Port Charles, plus was friends with Cam. He probably told her all about Esme. Especially since she's why Spencer died. It is strange that they've cut Joss completely out."

Still another fan replied to the original post, "Heather has a past history of violence and schemes that involve both the Qs and Emma's grandmother also. Emma was friends with Spencer and is still Cam's friend. I am fine with them and Kai helping Trina deal with Heather."

The fan who wrote the original post responded, "My point is that they weren't involved in the story we saw play out onscreen. So it feels awkward hearing Emma even say Esme's name. She never met her or interacted with her."

"That's what bothers me about GH," yet another fan replied. "They do that with the history of the Qs and Sonny/Carly/Jason. They let the viewers know the history from people who weren't around in that time. When they do that, for me, the emotion/severity of that time is not felt."

Another fan replied to the original post, "You mean Trina is a side character in what's supposed to be her own story. That can't possibly be."

How do you feel about Emma's deep dive into Heather's dark past? Are you happy that she's investigating it in order to help Trina? Sound off in the comments.
