General Hospital Fans React to Joe Arresting Carly and Valentin

General Hospital's Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are in a world of trouble now that Joe (Jonathan Bennett) has arrested them for Jack's (Chris McKenna) murder. We're still not sure how Jack ended up face down in the Metro Court pool, and we hope we find out soon. In any event, GH fans are reacting to the arrest.

Honesty is the best policy

Facebook fans are wondering how in the world Carly and Valentin ended up in this predicament when the solution to their problem was so obvious. Here are the fan reactions to this storyline.

"Why couldn't they just say the dog brought the finger to the house?" one fan wondered. "That they saw it coming from the direction of the preserve. They went searching to see what they could find, first putting the finger in a ziplock bag. When they found the body, they got freaked out, dropped the finger, and were on their way to call the police when officer friendly found them. Simple. They did nothing wrong."

Another fan evidently agreed, saying, "Why didn't they just tell the truth?"

"No one can ever tell the truth," yet another fan said, adding an emoji of a face with rolling eyes.

"This could have been explained away so easily," still another fan remarked.

"No one on this show ever does the right thing," one fan lamented. "How do the adults expect the young ones to be truthful and honest when they aren't?"

"So stupid to accuse Carly and Valentin so soon," another fan remarked.

"I hope Detective Fitzpatrick is not another Chase and jumps to conclusions with the evidence and suspects," one fan commented.

Another fan said, "I would like to know the answer to Carly's question as to what Joe was doing at the nature preserve. I thought THAT was random, because he had a flashlight like he knew and was looking for something."

"How did Joe know to show up there?" another fan wondered. "Who contacted him?"

Detective Outback cracked the case

Facebook fans are loving Outback's participation in this storyline, which has been dragging ever since Labor Day.

"Outback should be hired at the PCPD as lead detective," one fan said. That post garnered over a hundred "like" emojis.

"Love Outback," another fan said. "She's smarter than Chase or Dante. FINALLY something interesting to watch."

One fan replied to the post, saying, "Exactly! Outback knows what she is doing. Dante and Chase do not!"

"Go, Outback!" another fan cried. "She's better than the PCPD or the WSB on finding Jack."

"Outback deserves a promotion," one fan remarked.

"Outback has been working hard on this case for weeks and finally made a big breakthrough!" another fan said.

"The Emmy goes to Outback," one fan posted.

One Facebook fan referenced a hit movie from 1989, saying, "Outback and Joe can be the GH version of Turner and Hooch. Give that dog a badge. Nice to have a dog back on GH. I always liked when Annabelle was on."

For all of the newer GH fans, Annabelle was a French Briard dog that was the Quartermaines' pet from 1994 to 1998.

"Outback is the best detective in Port Charles, and she should be made top dog of the Port Charles police department," another fan said, adding, "Yes, the pun was intentional."

Will Drew and Ava get away with it?

Some Facebook fans are anxious to see Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ava (Maura West) get caught for drugging and burying Jack's body, especially since the two of them always get away with their crimes. The following are more fan comments regarding this fictional storyline.

"Good job, Joe. Now go after Drew and Ava," one fan said.

"Ava and Drew will get off scot-free again!" another fan said, adding an emoji of an angry face.

Still another fan said, "I so wish someone would out Drew and Ava."

One fan replied to that post, "Same here!"
