Todays episode delivered, better than my doordash! The PCPD were starting to get really confident and maybe a little smug that they had caught Michael in yet another lie, but it was not to be, thanks to Wiley and a quick thinking Ric.

Was not expecting that at all. The look on Dante's (Dominic Zamprogna) and ADA Turners (Nazneen Contractor) face at the end of the scene, just marvellous. I love it when the writers actually give the kids something important to do. Wiley, you little rascal, you may have just saved the day. Ric (Rick Hearst) wasted absolutely no time contacting Michael and interupting what was about to be a blindside.

As soon as i saw this scene, I knew there was hope for Michael. Ric is so good at his job and the way Hearst delivered those lines, he knows he's sitting on a revelation and he knows the golden rule. It's not what you know, it's what you can prove, and what the PCPD can prove now is looking really shaky.

This must have gotten cheers from all over the world as people watched this. Ric basically marched into the PCPD ready to blow the whole case against Michael (Rory Gibson) wide open, and he’s got this wild surprise eyewitness who can literally place a whole lot of doubt and muddy the waters. Ric could go so far as to place Chase (Josh Swickard) at the Corinthos house with the exact keys that were used as "evidence" later on.

It’s a total mess for Chase, and I feel that Ric is going to enjoy every second of this takedown. All along as we have had to watch Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), plant evidence, and walk around thinking she's the smartest in the room, we have just been waiting for something like this , anything, just to have the PCPD look a little harder and a little deeper and open their eyes.

The timing is awesome because Chase has walked away from his Detective's badge. Faced with a demotion for messing with the investigation, so now he doesn't have the department or the union to protect him. He’s just a disgraced officer now.

I like this is a better direction for the story because it ups the ante now, I ask the question, is he actually going to end up in an interrogation room facing a trial for framing Michael? Lordy I hope so, nothing better than seeing the right people get some consequences and repercussions.

While the legal walls close in, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) is dealing with her own emotional ghost. She just saw Nathan (Ryan Paevey), and even though it was definitely not a dream or a vision and a crazy "back from the dead" miracle, she really needed that peace. She’s been spiraling lately and seeing Nathan, felt like the reset button she deserved.

Over on X, fans are calling Wiley the "MVP" of the week, and it's hilarious because people are so happy the truth about the keys is finally coming out. On Facebook, the GH groups are arguing over whether Chase is actually guilty or just the fall guy for someone way more dangerous. With Ric smelling blood in the water, Chase’s life as a civilian is starting off with a total disaster, and I honestly can’t wait to see how he tries to squirm out of this one.

Side note: OMG could Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) not just write her questions for Drew on a piece of paper and then let the guy blink? Seriously. I know you two have an, interesting past LOL, but you know what you know, Willow has Drew in her care, anything sounding like alarm bells there? The red flags are bright and waving.
