Here is your General Hospital recap for Wednesday, April 1, 2026 featuring Sidwell and Cassius explaining how he came to become "Nathan," and Willow realizing what Kai and Trina know about Drew's shooting.
What happened on General Hospital

Jack barged into Nina's office and ended her important business call. He wanted answers about Valentin. Nina didn't think Valentin would've stayed in Port Charles for long, even if he'd made contact with Charlotte. Jack felt like Nina was becoming useless to him, so he threatened to make things worse for Willow.
Nina promised to get Jack what he needed. However, it was more difficult than that. Charlotte wasn't going to openly divulge any of the information about her father's whereabouts. Also, Nina wasn't thrilled about betraying Charlotte to aid the WSB in capturing her father.
Nina needed to put out a fire, and she was furious with Jacinda for letting Jack into her office. She gave her an important, lengthy assignment by the end of the day. This was her punishment for allowing Jack to get that close to her.
Jack returned to the offices, and he revealed that he was there to see Jacinda. Jack offered a way for Jacinda to appear more suitable to Michael. She asked what it was, but he wasn't ready to reveal that information yet. Jack asked Jacinda to get the information from Charlotte about Valentin, and if she got it first, she would get something useful in return.

Willow filled Drew in about the foster care situation between Chase and Brook Lynn. She wanted to put in a good word to CPS after Wiley's gaffe regarding the hooker comment. Willow asked Drew if he struggled to be around her after what she did to him.
Willow couldn't believe that Drew's team in Congress accepted her so easily. However, something about Kai had begun to trouble her. Although Kai had a key to their house, Willow questioned how Kai and Trina had the amount of knowledge they had.
Willow recalled that Wiley called her on the night she shot Drew. She realized that Kai and Trina would've potentially had access to be in the house when she shot him. Nina arrived in a panic, but Willow needed to take off. She left Nina in charge of Drew until his caretaker arrived.
Nina found it difficult to see Drew in his current state. However, before they could talk any further, Michael arrived and asked to be invited in. Drew blinked over and over, and Michael questioned if there was more to it. Michael expressed sympathy for Drew's current condition, but he found it ironic that once Drew finally got Willow, he couldn't even move.

Trina was excited about the idea of singing at Charlie's grand reopening. Kai was glad to hear that she wasn't backing out of the idea. Trina asked if it bothered Kai that Willow was acting like an upstanding member of society, despite being responsible for Drew's shooting.
Michael walked in and apologized for interrupting. Trina said it was fine, and they were simply looking forward to the Open Mic Night. Michael was there to speak with Kai, and there were some issues between Wiley and his Little League coach; he hoped that Kai could bring him onto his team.
Kai understood where Michael was coming from, but having a coach that he didn't vibe with might help him more in the long run. They wanted Wiley to have some fun, but if the issues persisted, Kai offered to let him join. He agreed to give Wiley private lessons on the side in the meantime. After Michael left, Willow showed up and overheard the couple discussing how she had shot Drew.

Lulu and Laura met at Bobbie's, and she had a favor to ask her mother about Cullum. Lulu hoped Laura would find a way to locate Jason. Laura admitted that nothing about the shooting made sense, but she was confused about why her daughter was desperate to find Jason.
Lulu said Rocco was upset that Danny's father was taken away like that. She said she knew what it was like to lose someone because of the WSB. Laura agreed to contact Robert to see if he could uncover any information about Jason's location.
Ezra walked up to the table and joined the ladies. They were disgusted, and he said that Port Charles was better off without Jason. He went on about how pleased he was that Jason was finally removed by the WSB, until Laura asked him if he had anything legitimate to discuss.
Ezra said he did, but it wasn't something he thought Laura would want Lulu to hear. Laura asked Lulu to leave, so she could speak privately with Ezra. He wanted Laura to publicly condemn Sonny and Jason in a press conference. Marco's murder changed everything. Laura declined, but Ezra urged her to reconsider because if she didn't, her life might be in danger.

Lucas knocked on Britt's door, as she was showing signs of Huntington's rearing its head again. He asked if he could come in and filled her in on Cullum waking up. He didn't remember who shot him, and Britt asked if there was anything else he wanted to say.
Britt wanted Lucas to blame her for Marco's murder, but he blamed himself instead. Lucas didn't think he should have gotten involved in any of the business surrounding Britt and her medication. He forced Marco to prove that he could be trusted, and although it worked, it cost him his life.
Britt understood how painful Marco's death was. It pained her to see how distraught Lucas was. Lucas asked what happened to the medication, and she confirmed that Cullum destroyed it on the pier. Everything that happened that night appeared to be for nothing.
Britt told Lucas everything about Cullum attacking her on the pier and destroying her medication. He was furious with her, and she believed that the end of her life was imminent. Britt tried to escape, but once she fell and hit her head, she lost consciousness.
Lucas and Britt put the pieces together about Cullum killing Marco. The only way he could've known that Britt would be at the pier would have been by reading the texts on Marco's phone. He brutally murdered Marco and then sought to wipe Britt off the face of the earth.
Culllum killing Marco was the only explanation that made sense. Lucas came to the horrific realization that he had saved the life of his boyfriend's killer. He started to have a panic attack, but Britt comforted him.

"Nathan" told Sidwell that he agreed to never call him Cassius. They'd been partners for years, and Sidwell believed there was a level of trust. Sidwell doubted the idea of Cassius stepping into his brother's life, but Cassius had done a great job at fooling everyone.
Cassius thought that they shouldn't say anything in Wyndemere because Lucas was always around. However, nobody was around. He assumed that Sidwell wanted to speak with him regarding Marco's murder. The twin brother of Nathan West was best suited to uncover the answers he sought.
Cassius said that he and Sidwell needed to be cautious about how to proceed. Dante suspected something for a brief moment, and he didn't want to spark any further suspicion by asking the wrong questions. Sidwell needed to know what happened to his son, and although Jordan was looking into it, he needed "Nathan" as well.
Sidwell touted Cassius for being in the right place when Laura had "car troubles," and they successfully blackmailed her and Sonny. Cassius said that Sidwell set him up for success by poisoning Maxie. Suddenly, the entire diabolical scheme became far clearer, and the future looked bleak for the citizens of Port Charles.
Cassius felt that his return never would've worked if Maxie had been around when he first arrived. Maxie would've seen right through him. However, Maxie's coma gave him the time to fully immerse himself in Nathan's life.
Sidwell blamed Britt for everything going off the rails. He was convinced that Sonny was the one who had Marco killed, and he assumed Jason was the one who shot Cullum as a result of everything that transpired.
Naturally, Cassius knew the truth, but he elected to keep Rocco's involvement to himself. Sidwell suggested that Cassius visit Cullum in the hospital to see what he knew. Nobody would find it odd that a detective was visiting a WSB agent following his shooting. Sidwell wanted Cassius to deal with Britt since she had compromised their operation.
After Cassius left, Lucas raced into the door of Wyndemere, and Sidwell was pleased to see him. However, Lucas was there for other reasons. Lucas asked if he wanted to know why his son was murdered.
Lulu visited the pier where Rocco shot Cullum in the back, and she thought about everything that had happened. "Nathan" showed up soon after, and the pair locked eyes. She couldn't believe that was the location where her son did what he did.
