On the Monday, August 31, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Jack drank up, Drew broke in, and so did Carly and Valentin. Plus, Willow lamented her lost life with Chase.

Willow's In Love

Outside the Q boathouse, Chase walked away from Willow as things grew too intense. Willow apologized for leaning on him so much. "Don't blame yourself. Nothing happened between us, and nothing's going to," Chase said.

Amazingly, an entire episode and 20 minutes later, Chase remembered to put his shirt on. He told Willow that he loved Brook Lynn and Phoebe more than anything, but he could be there for her, too. Willow admitted that she needed a friend. "One that gets me in a way that nobody else does," she pointed out.

After Chase and Willow went their separate ways, Rocco and Scout came out of hiding. Scout practically had her jaw on the floor. "Oh, my God! Do you think Willow was in love with Chase the entire time she was married to my dad?" she asked. Rocco thought it looked innocent.

"That was not just talking. At least not on Willow's part. My dad was right to divorce her," Scout said. Rocco got Scout to see that since Willow and Drew were no longer together, Willow's feelings were not completely wrong.

The Metro Court Gardens

Ava took a deep breath and a sip of her martini as Jack returned to their table at the Metro Court Gardens. When he told her that he didn't have time to talk, Ava stopped him to give him a warning about Nina. On the fly, Ava improvised and brought up the argument Nina and Jack had the other day.

Ava said she knew Nina cared for Jack, so she wanted to give Jack some insight into his BFF. Jack decided to have a drink and listen. Ava vamped and told Jack what he already knew: that Nina would do anything for Willow. Jack said he had observed that. "Nina will never be able to think clearly when it comes to Willow and that just gives Willow too much power over her," Jack agreed, as he drank his alcohol and pill cocktail.

At another table, Britt met with Dante at his behest to talk about Rocco. Britt said that he had seemed lighter when she saw him, but Dante worried that he was growing quieter and more withdrawn. Dante worried that Rocco might be hiding something and had confided in Britt.

Britt offered Dante her observations. Rocco was a teenager, which was a stressful enough existence to lead. He had just been through a terrible time, plus it had to be hard for him "to see the media treat Cullum like a hero when Rocco knows the truth."

Britt assured Dante that pulling away from his parents was what teens do. Dante thanked Britt for her insight. She was just amazed and grateful that Dante had reached out to her to help with Rocco.

Chase, who had put an entire summer evening ensemble (complete with linen blazer) on met with Dante next. The two old friends who live in the same house caught up. Chase admitted that he had a situation with Willow. He worried that Willow might still be in love with him. He didn't know how to be her friend without making the situation worse. Dante advised Chase to stay out of Willow and Michael's problems.

Laura Puts Drew in His Place

At the Metro Court restaurant, Drew felt that Laura and Sonny were ambushing him. Laura assured Drew that she just wanted peace. She would be taking a leave of absence and hoped that Drew and Sonny could play nice while she was gone. "That's why you asked to talk to me? To ask the impossible. There is no peace with Sonny. There hasn't been for years," he said.

Laura asked that Drew leave past animosity in the past and focus on making the Pier 55 auction a smooth process. "I think a conflict over that property wouldn't be good for anyone, least of all you," Laura told Drew, who said that he was the preferred potential owner since he wasn't a criminal. Sonny informed Drew he wasn't a criminal either...anymore.

Drew didn't care what Laura had to say, so Laura put him in his place. "It's my town. It's not Sonny's. It's not Sidwell's. And it's certainly not yours. And Drew? I've had enough of this crap in my town," she said, as Sonny nodded. Drew and Laura argued some more until he finally left to do commit some illegal acts. Once Drew was gone, Sonny promised Laura he would behave.

At the bar, Britt ordered a drink. Willow oddly joined her. She thought she'd say hello and chat with her cousin. The two women drank and lamented the men who got away. Willow said she didn't resent Chase, but she knew she screwed up. "I had my happy ending with Chase and then I ruined it with Michael, of all people," Willow said.

Sneaking Around

In Carly's office, Valentin was disappointed when she ended their makeout session after a phone call. Carly explained that Drew had just moved into an Aurora office and had a package delivered. Carly was determined to keep tabs on all things Drew. She also now had a reason to break into his office, using the package as an excuse.

Charlotte and Danny were also using the Drew's new office angle to execute their plan. Danny got them a key card to Drew's office so they could break in and find some blackmail info. As they tried to get in, they heard Carly and Valentin's voices, so they hid.

Carly and Valentin got in, with Valentin donning black latex gloves. They got to work trying to find information against Drew. Valentin soon found his complete business plan that they could use to their advantage. In the corridor, Charlotte and Danny decided they'd have some fun so the night wouldn't be a complete bust.

As Ava's yammering about the virtues of Nina in the Metro Court Gardens came to an end and Jack stumbled onto the elevator, Drew finally got into Carly's office and disabled the security system. He then got into Jack's room and began his search.

While Drew searched, Charlotte and Danny chose the pool for their evening activity. It was closed, but they were going to enjoy a swim. As Charlotte dove in and swam for a bit, she noticed Jack's dead body floating with her and screamed.

Pentonville Time

At Pentonville, Curtis met his new cellmate, Jenz Sidwell. "I'm sure you and I will become fast friends," Sidwell said with a smile. Curtis begged to differ. Sidwell told Curtis that he didn't want any friction with a cellmate. "Cause after all, who wants to wake up with their throat cut?" Sidwell asked.

Sidwell went on to explain that emotions and fear got them into this mess, so he wasn't about to let those emotions take over while in Pentonville. "Our rash actions led us here," he said. "Why are we suffering these consequences while Sonny Corinthos, for example, who's done far worse for far longer, walks free?"

Will you miss Jack Brennan? Did you have high hopes for him and Nina? Sound off in the comments.
